What do you mean 'not working'?
It's working fine...
Just send Dart your nominations. :P

We don't have spring break here, but I would just like to say that I *love* Doug TenNapel and have ordered Creature Tech a while ago. It hasn't arrived yet, I should probably call the store. :(

Very nice.
You may want to look for, or make some brushes.
They do wonders in Painter.
PM me, if you wish, and I will send you some of my brush collection.

Waaaait... Does this mean all my hosted files will be gone? -_-

Well, you were wrong.
Sprite jams aren't voted for.
Background blitzes are.

The "Deja-Vu" games are also available on the Gamboy Colour, if I am not mistaken.

Edit: Awesome, I'm not mistaken.

It might be better to wait until nominations actually start...

If it's held in Greece, it'll be about $300 US for me.
There's a 99% chance that I will be attending, as my parents are (currently) willing to pay for the trip.
Plus, if it's held in August, I'll be 18... Awesome.

I would have to agree with Inkoddi. :D
not only is it my favourite adventure game soundtrack, but also one of my favourite albums. Such wacky and awesome music.

"Egg mountain (given it's name unsuprisingly because of it's reseblance to a giant egg) is the show-piece of Crane Egg Island, and one of the island's many sites that makes it such a unique place to see. The fierce gradient means that the mountain itself has yet to be conquered, and some even believe that the egg holds the spirit of a giant crane, rumoured to be the guardian and keeper of the island! Whatever you beleive, you should make an effort to see the mountain in it's enourmous entirity, you won't be disappointed!."

"Un-surprisingly". If that is a real word.
"Resemblance".
"Believe".
"Entirety".

Love the art, but you should fix those typos. :P

Following Yufster's trendy "make-up-a-dialog-of-how-the-hell-they-come-up-with-this-stuff":
(Er. Warning, explicit language)

Spoiler
Exec: "So kids, do you want bugs bunny to look tough?"
Kids:" YAAAAAAYYYYYYY"
Exec: "Do you want him to look EXTREME???"
Kids: "YAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYy!!!!"
Exec: "DO YOU WANT HIM TO LOOK AS THOUGH HE HAS CRAWLED FROM THE 5TH CIRCLE OF HELL TO REND YOUR SOULS FROM YOUR BODY WITH HIS MIGHTY CLASP OF THE DARK LORD SATAN?!?!?!?!?!?!?"
Kids:  ???
Exec: "ROCK THE FUCK ON!!!! LOONATICS 20X6 IN YOUR FACE BITCHES!!!!!!!!!"
[close]

Admittedly stolen from another forum.

It's a good thing that it's a spin-off, it's a bad thing that it has been created.

Whoa.
I have not read Bone until I heard of this game.
Now I'm reading the second book and I... I think I'm in love.
It's cute, funny, and all those other adjectives people here have mentioned.
I'd definitely like to see this as a game, I just hope they can keep the spirit of the comics.

If you haven't read it yet, you must. You MUST.

Caleb's Drunken Adventure.

Didn't bother checking if the links work, though.
Sorry.

Ooh. I really like this.
One crit, though.
The door seems to be shaded a bit too... smoothly.
Doesn't really seem to fit the pixel-y look.

Other than that, good job! :D

This has been discussed over and over again on IRC, and after some procrastination, it has been decided to start an Animation Competition!

What happens is this:

A base sprite is supplied, and a theme. Participants must use the given sprite for their animation.
This is done mostly so people who feel their drawing skills aren't to par can participate as well.

Each competition will last 11 days. If there is enough response to this one, that is.

The starter of each competition will decide on the winner.

The winner, who will decide on the next competition's theme, must also supply a sprite. It doesn't have to be an amazing piece of art. Just something that won't be too hard to animate.

So, let us begin!

Our first theme is "conveying an emotion"!
One of the most important uses of animation in a game, in my opinion. Making the player see what your character FEELS.
You may use any emotion you wish: surprise, disgust, happiness, love... The sky's (almost) the limit.

For this competition, we will use the king of placeholder graphics, our own beloved... Roger!

You may use the side view, front view, or both, if you wish.
Please remember to state which emotion you are trying to convey.

Remember: Convey an EMOTION!

Happy animating!

I'm voting Loominous.
DontTreadOnMe's entry could've got my vote, had it been finished. :)
