*I* Do see armed men every day (Israeli soldiers).  I just don't see them fighting.
Most of the fighting happens in the Palestinian territories or the Jewish settlements near them, as far as I know.

I don't have any critics at all, except the background looked a teeny bit blurry.

And another thing, I thought the latest  pic you posted looked familiar...

Fun facts:
- No, Not everyone in Israel is religious.
- Yes, both the financial situation and the safety situation are terrible. It is a common joke to say "...it's because of the situation." about something that goes wrong, at least that's how it seems to me.. I've pretty much lost interest in listening to the news.
- Most present israeli music (eastern music it's also called) is, in my opinion, bad, to say the least, but for some reason a lot of people here like it. If I had to listen to israeli music, I'd prefer older music, it was much better IMO.
- As far as I know (as I said, I don't follow news with too much care) there hasn't been a terrorist act in some time, but I still can't say our country is safe.
- Here too almost everyone owns a cellular phone, even kids at the age of 8. I've had one since I was 12.
- Also, there've been a lot of talks about drugs in our school lately, so I'm guessing that aspect isn't in a good state either.

- We don't ride camels*
- We don't get shot/blown up/kidnapped every time we go out of the house.

One crit: you can try making the eyeball a bit more glossy, maybe raise the spacularity or something, it just looks a bit too dry to be an eye.

And a question, did you read this tutorial?
If you didn't, you should, it's great.

Guybrush Peepwood: Yep, he is supposed to be kind of tanned, and I have darkened the shadows a bit in a more up-to-date version of the painting (I haven't posted it yet because there is not much progress yet).

I also fixed a slight anatomical problem regarding the position of the ears, thanks to DodgeR for spotting it.

Oh, and I _will_ update as I go, don't worry!

This is my first digital painting that's worth posting ANYWHERE.
I'm a total beginner at this so crits are more than welcome
I have absolutely no idea on how to paint the eyes, ears and hair, so tips on that will be greatly appreciated
