Wow, I really like the design, navigation is quick and easy, good job.
I only found one minor problem, that there isn't a link to the main news page of each issue, so you have to click 'back' on your browser.
Not much of a problem, but could be a nice touch.

the only crit I have is that I noticed that the arrows don't really follow the perspective of the plane view (top left window), might be nice if you made them follow it.

Well I don't know if he is, but this is a serious matter of rebellion.
This so called "community" has come to a sorry state due to poor moderation and lack of updates to the software, which is what kept us together all this time.

I watch TechTV alot, too.
They don't air Robot Wars where I live anymore, and I find that a good thing, that show bored me to death.
Since I have nothing to contribute to this thread really, I'll just share something I saw on TechTV.
On the show Call For Help, not a long time ago, they showed The Adventures of Zak McKracken 2 (Lucasfan's game) as the free file of the day.
It was teh w00t.

EDIT- Oh yeah, and the american show that Robot Wars is based upon might be Battlebots.
