General Discussion / Re:Local bands?
Wed 24/09/2003 21:57:40
Israeli bands for your enjoyment:
Reeds, a sort of punk-ish band, they're pretty good.
Useless ID a pretty famous pop-punk band (they're on www.kungfurecords.com).
Erm, DPA a hardcore-punk band.
Betzefer a metal-ish band (and a pretty damn good one, too).

I'll post more later when I remember them.

EDIT: OF COURSE! How could I forget my favourite Israeli band Mutant John???
Good ol' indie!

ANOTHER EDIT:
The Astroglides an amazingly good surfcore/hardcore band. Worth checking out.

At first I was like "oh joy, I won't look at the site but the animation forum is quite nice".

but now I'm all, "Hey I get an error when I try to go to this site".

Saaaay...
Aren't you the one who got busted by angelfire?

Sounds good, downloading!
And besides, I _can't_ miss a game with such a nice title!
"tit"...
:P

EDIT: And since I'm on dialup, you'll get my crits for the game somewhere circa 2016.

Lucasfan, I'll translate the hebrew review (#1):
"The adventures of Zak McKracken were the subject of the second adventure game released by Lucasarts, but they have come to an early end. A fair amount of time later, german fans have released a sequel (which is considered a sort of classic itself) - and then came the remake people from the west and released the new adventures of zak mckracken - in english! The new version includes six other languages (but not hebrew) and now the adventures of zak and his new voyages are available for the rest of the world."

I think posting the pic again is quite unnecessary, DM.
And I like the idea of this competition, hope it works!

I think the perspective on the bed is kinda off...

SSH, that's one of the best plot ideas I have heard, but what about us colorblind people?
I would probably kill myself from the frustration of not being able to play this game :P

Heh, I have to agree about Simple Plan.
They should change their name to "The Children of Mest".
#736
Do you consider crashing a better benefit, bigcitynerd?
#739
I still can't understand why you want peas to post their logos.

That intro text sounds just like the intro to "War of the Worlds"...
