I think you can use a credit card OR a debit card, if that helps? Kickstarter doesn't support Paypal, unfortunately. But if the campaign gets near its goal I'll consider adding a Paypal option.

Many thanks for your support Peder, and others!

Mati256: The game will be in English to begin with, but translation will be a stretch goal. I've just added a FAQ at the bottom of the Kickstarter page with a bit more information.

Thanks guys!

QuoteVoice acting pack for Nelly Cootalot: Spoonbeaks Ahoy!
This is only a strech goal? So if it is not met there will be no voiceacting?

Voice acting for the original game is a stretch goal. The Fowl Fleet will definitely be voiced if we meet our target. Thanks for pointing out the confusion!

Thanks for the feedback guys!

In case you are interested, I sort of launched a kickstarter campaign about 7 minutes ago:

I would be very grateful for any tweets, blogs, shares, (and of course cash-moneys) which you might care to give.

I think that won't let to copy all layers at once? Unless I am unaware of "flattening" copy operation in Photoshop and similar programs.
Ctrl-Shift-C copies flattened layers. Annoyingly, it doesn't work if there's just a background and no layers.

Culpa Innata is a Sci-Fi thriller with lots of things wrong with it, but is quite weirdly brilliant in other ways.

Ooh! This is very interesting, I look forward to testing it.

Unfortunately, AGS's idea of high resolution is pretty low res by contemporary standards.

I thought Theo / Skygoblin had put together a beta build of AGS which could do 720p/1080p, but I can't find it by searching... This is definitely something that AGS should be able to do, in my opinion.

I used your particle module in the first version of Nelly Cootalot (I had to take it out of the current 32bit version because Raw Draw wasn't working well with DX9). So thank you!

I made this game (very quickly last year) using construct 2: http://abeckettking.com/booksgame.html

But I found the scripting irritatingly limiting. Particularly the lack of really basic things like if/then conditionals. Construct2 is still in development, of course, so maybe it's better now?

One useful addition would be the ability to re-link files with the same name, but in different folders. To allow the user to change their folder arrangement or transfer to a different computer.

Ideally, pointing out one sprite's new location would make AGS look there the next time it tried to reload a missing file. (Similar to how it works in After Effects.)

WHY DIDN'T I READ THIS THREAD YESTERDAY?!

Any time spent not checking the AGS forums is time wasted.

I think the problem is that photographic games are stil composed like old sierra adventures. Characters are seen from head to foot throughout, which is rarely the case with film and photography.

I'd say do it, but don't film someone walking on a treadmill against greenscreen in 8 directions. Make a first-person game, and create good, interesting compositions with a range of shot sizes.

People are complaining about the funeral costing £8m, but if most of that's going on security it's probably wise. I think the irony of a state funeral for someone who embodied callous individualism is summed up by Ken Loach's remark:

Quote“Remember she called Mandela a terrorist and took tea with the torturer and murderer Pinochet. How should we honour her? Let's privatise her funeral. Put it out to competitive tender and accept the cheapest bid. It's what she would have wanted.”

Don't derail my glee at the death of an old woman!

And Tony Benn is still alive! Finally, a victory for the left!

Have you got a girlfriend?

EDIT: I'm feeling guilty about being mean, sorry. I just don't like misogynistic humour.

Well done! Wow!

I just realised I hadn't commented on this. It looks great! Me and the missus are also huge fans of the 1920s, so we're looking forward to this!
