However the bad news is, it is a walking death. Hopefully you have a save before you used the rope with the banana.

It's a security room, hence all the survalance screens and computer monitors. hrm... maybe a lever or two, but that's a bit more mechanical than electrical... I suppose it doesn't entirely matter, as they won't really do anything.

Ok, Update in top post.

I added a flat monitor into the console, a lever housing (sans lever at the moment) another gauge, and some people that are being monitored.

There is still a few bare spots, I'm debating on just putting more colored buttons/lights in that area...

Anything else?

Bah I finished it (the full thing) and good god was that a brain bender, I didn't even bother to solve the top by itself. Once it was translated I went right to solving the whole thing...

And then when I get my handy dandy code... bandwith is exceeded on site... so I can't even join the ranks of the uber Linus Bruckman defeater squad... or something.

Ok I was going along just fine with my newest background when I hit a bit of spriters block...

The left console as left me blank, I thought about putting more monitors on it like I have on the right side, but that would make it a bit too symetrical, but an entire panel of colored lights seems like overkill.

So could you perhaps give me some ideas on what can go on that left console portion?

Ok I put a new demo up, it takes care of a bit of scripting bugs and debug code that I accidently left in there while I was testing. Also, fixed some spelling errors.

I'd like to thank everyone that sent me bug reports (people here, and people over at skytower).

You know honestly I have no idea my build is Build 2.72.651 but a download of the engine again wouldn't hurt me I guess....

I'll try that and see if that fixes it.

EDIT: Yup, newest build is 2.72.652, so I did have the one just before the final release, and as soon as I overwrote the old ags the icon went right in and the game loaded with no issues.

Sorry about that CJ, didn't mean to waste your time.

Pumaman: do you want the un-icond or an iconed version?

I started a new default game and tried it as well, this never starts either, this is the full game folder, the only thing added was a single (empty) room the normal default template stuff, and the custom icon.

Has anone discovered anything about this yet?

On my own I've discovered that any icon I make and use as the setup icon works like a charm, but the executable is still a no go. Everything else is just about the same.

Oops yeah, sorry, I had that block commented out. Also, I locked down the lockup problem with the overlay, basically it was trying to run an interaction after you click to remove the overlay, if the mouse was over a hotspot when you clicked to remove the overlay, and that hotspot interaction involved a blocking function.  I've put in  extra checks now, so that should never happen again, the checks also keep you from clicking on any hotspots while the inventory is open, which has the potential to do the same thing.

Gah, I must rememember to get a beta testing staff before I release a full version.

Anyway new version up, that should let you go all the way to the end of the demo, which it does tell you when you finished it.

Oops, sorry about that, it's fixed now and I'm uploading it again. I guess you just can't think of everything, can you. Also, fixed anotehr but if you use other inventory items in the same area.

Anyway Thanks New version that fixes that bug is on the server.

I've been trying to make a user.ico for my ags game. I've used 3 seperate icon editors, but for some reason everytime I put the user.ico in my game folder and compile the game exe has a fatal exception error.

I have tried 16 color, 256 color, full color, only 32X32 pixels, and different editor and each time after the game is recopiled and I have the new icon the game exe throws the fatal exception.

As soon as I remove the ico file and recompile the game works fine again.

n00bs, the scourge of the internet. Wherever there is an amateur game making community, these little blighters come out of the woodwork. To some they are just a minor annoyance, to others mild amusement, but to moderators, they are THE ENEMY.

Join our hero Alynn the Yellow Eyed, the resident n00b nazi of Skytower Games and help him rid the skytower of the evil n00bs that have taken it over, and perhaps help him gain the respect (and some other things as well) of LadyKiki

Some may easily recognize the graphics from RM2K's RTP. This is completely intentional as most of the graphics ARE from RM2K rtp. The reason is that back when this game was origionally envisioned (back in 2004) Skytower Games was a primarily RM2K site. When the game was lost, and later found again, even though skytower has gone away from being a primarily rm2k site, I decided to keep the graphics as is instead of starting over from scratch.

There has been some changes from the origional intro I posted way back when, mostly with the use of modules instead of plugins.

Basicly, it will have lots of bad puns followed by rimshots. Sexual inuendos, toilet humor, satire, and all that other goofy bs that I find funny.

There is currently a demo available playable though to the end of chapter one. I'm pretty sure I worked out all the bugs (2 days of playtesting and I havent found another one), but if you find one please let me know.

NOTE: There is cartoonish violence and deaths in this game, also there is tons of curse words, so this is your warning. Also, it's a 320X240 game but it's best viewed running at 640X480 due to the TTF fonts I use.

FYI I've had a couple of issues with the upload, some things got messed up, so I'm in the process of fixing them so if for some reason the game text looks messed up, double check the setup and make sure it's running in 640X480...
