Sure, where do I vote? I hadn't realized it was a contest entry. The only contest I follow is the MAGS.

For the kissing question, it's important that the user understands that the question is how many kisses took place in total. If you read the wording, there is no antecedent for the pronoun "it". Do you see why that's confusing? I actually got it once I knew what was being asked.

I have a question. As far as I remember I tried android launcher back then and it worked fine, but in my new game there are a lot of "strings" fields where you have to type something. Will this also work with the android launcher? Will the keyboard appear on mobile phones, so that you type something?

There's a built in keyboard, which you may bring by holding "back" key and choosing "keyboard" from the menu. But that is meant mostly for games which were not specifically designed for touch screen. If that does not suit your game you could script your own on-screen keyboard.

Ah cool, this works on my old iPad. But you can't delete what you wrote. Delete doesn't work    Is it possible to make the keyboard appear on the touchscreen? You know, the newer ones don't have a "back" key anymore.

Edit: I just tried with Galaxy tab s6. I was able to delete and use the touch button "Back" to bring up the keyboard. With my old Galaxy tab a6 (Android version 5 I guess) I was not able to delete what I wrote, I think it's the old version. It doesn't matter. Now my friends who don't have PC can play my game. Thank u.

Story

On a beautiful morning with chirping birds and sunshine, it seems a new beautiful day begins for the whole world. But no one knows that a catastrophe could happen that day. An evil, tyrannical, purple tentacle wants to take over the world. On this seemingly wonderful morning, our well-known protagonist, Bernard, renowned physicist and chemist, wakes up muddled. Ok, now I'm sure the problem is with AGS. I created a new game. Esc works at the beginning. As soon as you press ctrl or alt, esc no longer works. You have to press any letter key to activate Esc 

Please tell, which version of AGS are you using? I recall there have been similar problem few years ago, but I thought it was fixed eventually.

At the beginning of the game I have StartCutscene(eSkipESCOnly); if you press ctrl or alt beforehand, esc key no longer works either 
Like I said ctrl and alt make esc inactive.

I have a weird problem with the keys. Esc key should make the menu visible.
But when I press ctrl or alt then the esc key doesn't work that the menu pops up. I mean, you press ctrl, then esc, nothing happens. If you press any key of a letter then esc again, the menu reappears. As if crtl and alt would make the esc key inactive. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? Debug mode is false.

I'm looking for 2-3 testers to test my game "Challenge of the Tentacle" it's a short game, you can play through in 20 minutes if you have the resolutions. There are also hints in the game and there is me too

It's important that the testers not only play, but also look for bugs. The game will be ready tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. I ask the testers not to take more than 2 days. I want to publish it as soon as possible.

You're right. everything, not just speech volume.

Sorry, I don't understand what do you mean by that.

As for the volume controls, AGS does not support going above 100% setting, so either you lower music and sounds in game (say, music at 80% and speech at 100%), or rebalance the source files to make them be approximately at the same level.

I meant by yes everything, that music and sound volume in the game is lower as well as their audio files.

I just want it to be 100% in the game like the audio files, not above 100% .

I did that. But as I said, since the volume of the speech audio files is a bit quiet and in the game even quieter, it bothers me a bit. But it's not a problem if it stays that way.
