Just be glad he's swimming on his belly and not on his back.  (laugh)
The water and the cycle look great!  (nod)

Lol thanks! About the cycle, I'd like to remind you that I rotoscope the cycles in this project  :-D  :-[

What a pretty underwater background!  Great animation.

Thanks dactylopus! This is only a cropped part of the room, which is a part of 16+ underwater rooms  ;)

I like it how the bubbles sometimes make it look like...

Nevermind, I'm a child.

Dude.. I'm more childish than you! As Crimson Wizard provided the link, I will let one slip away  :-D

BTW, from technical perspective (and knowing some AGS limitations), I keep wondering, how do all those animations impact game size? Looking back at all the screenshots and gifs, you have almost every room animated in some way.

Actually I'm very careful with this to an OCD level. I try to be "smart" and I try as much as possible to recycle sprites by reusing them. The cut-scenes animations are also very carefully made with large solid colors areas to prevent large video sizes. Man I'm even super careful with the code size! Btw the underwater effect is a plugin  ;)
Tardigrades is 500MBs when compiled (Aug 25th 2019) without speech.

So glad you are making great progress  (nod)

Thanks Slasher! I may not be able to share much now, but this doesn't mean I'm not working hard  ;)

Could you not make a space suit out of Tardigrades?

:-D :-D :-D

I am looking forward to this! (nod) How much will be the total gameplay time?

Thanks! I can't estimate precisely due to the massive non-linearity open-world aspect of the game  ;)

Here's an update! I think the up-view of this frog-style-swim-cycle will cost the game a rating  :-[

We have a winner!

[imgzoom]http://ags.pics/D7p1.gif[/imgzoom]

Third place is a tie between both DWR's Game Controller & Klatuu's bucket of snakes!
You two get the bronze pinwheel!

And in Second place, Klatuu's miniature Grim Reaper gets the silver pinwheel!

Wow, a huge leap in under a year, there!

I think the OP may be a little confusing. The numbers you see there are based on May 8th 2014  ;)

Are the progress percentages in your OP still accurate? I see you haven't edited it in about a year...

I'm cautious with editing older posts obviously for legal reasons. I'm even careful what to show and what not..  :(

This is my current estimation of the progress:

[July 12th 2019]

Scripting: Game mechanics 100% General 85%
Graphics 80%
Audio 70%
Music 90%
Story 100%
Puzzles 70%
Translations 40%

josiah1221: lol thanks! I'm afraid the river is too thin for your kayak  :-D

sawyer: Thanks! Glad you like it!

CrashPL: Thanks! Welcome to the club  8-)

Here's a spaceship I've been keeping away for long. I think it's time to share a spaceship since I haven't shared one in a long time (there are many in Tardigrades that I haven't shared yet!)

It's The Ancient Egyptian Double Slit Spaceship, if you read about quantum mechanics you probably know about the double slit experiment. If you don't, then consider it as a huge space toaster  (laugh)

It's charging... it may do something subatomic or pop a toast:

Here is the 3D sketch:
