Hm... I would go with one of those blog tools you'll find everywhere. My head started hurting just from a quick glance at that site.

Sounds exciting, Mods!
I hope your business will prosper and grow :)

Yea, I'm just saying, If you gave me 400k I would spend 10 hours a day for the rest of my life developing entire series of games, throw me 3.4 mill and ill do backflips and build you a fkn rocket that will get you to the moon.
This is what all who have donated get:

Are you saying that you'd make better use of that money than Tim Schafer?

I don't see the point of your post, really.

Batman and Aquaman have been applying for years, but we're a bit picky about credentials.

So, eh, let's stay on topic now peepz!

...aaaand correction.

Even though this thread has been reported for its obvious flaws, the concensus amongst moderators is that it's better if Icey can focus all of his posts into one thread, instead of spamming the GiP.

So, as long as everyone can behave politely, let's keep this thread open.

And good luck to Icey with all his endeavours.

Guys, there are limits as to how pointless threads we can tolerate here.

The talk & chat forum is not for promoting your own projects.

Please start a proper GiP thread in the designated board.

If you want to launch a communal game project, that's one thing, but this seems to mostly be about you taking advantage of renowned characters and concepts to generate hype.

Good luck, Snarky!
Remember that in AGS, we ban first and give warnings later.

Recently read The secret history by Donna Tartt, which was very good but a bit long - not really tedious, but unnecessarily long, simply.

Then read some old English classics, including several Lovecraft stories. I think they're generally amusing, if a bit repetitious.

Recently started on Norwegian Wood, and found it entertaining in the beginning, but then it started to feel unrefined, and the dialogues would sometimes just go on forever without any substance. I look forward reading his other works, like 1q84 and the wind-up bird chronicles.

... made Tintin a modern anti-hero type that's so popular these days,

Noooooo! I'm so fed up with anti-heroes. The good thing with Tintin - and most of the comic heroes from the belgian-french school - is that he's genuinely kind and warm hearted.

I guess it's cool that Marvel and the guys started exploring the anti-heroic concept back in the sixties, when most protagonists were still nice guys, but since then there's just been too much of it. We need new anti-anti-heroes.

Gonna see Tintin soon, btw.

Andail, ice cool name there, the l33t sp33k is a bad habbit from the past, i've written that way for years while i was known as Orochimaru on mocospace
Nobody cares about this. Just write standard English and stop appearing like you're ten years old.

if it happens again, don't hold back and defend yourself if i start crapping on you.

No, if it happens again you will simply be banned.

PS:
And don't double post, please.

Think about this and it'll be fine. Good luck, Milos!

Milos: Remember, the minimum age here is 16 - if you're unable to act that age, don't post.

You have to start thinking about what to write and how to write it, before you hit that Post button.

A good start is to avoid leet speak, and to ask yourself if what you post is really necessary, or just provocative.

Opening this thread again.
#1216
The Game Hackademic, your only purpose right now seems to be to cause controversy. The excessive posting, along with your inflammatory language, goes against good forum form. Please behave.

Hehe, good old memories.

Hey now, easy on the troll-feeding.

Dbuske, try to relax a bit, refrain from posting for a little while, take a step back and have a look at your own behaviour. Hopefully you'll understand why people react as they do. If not, then perhaps this forum isn't for you.
#1219
Until you have something substantial to show, post in the critics' lounge for c&c concerning specific areas. When you have made some progress, you post a GiP thread and wait for some feedback.
Good luck with all your endeavours.
