It's everything but sloppy. On the contrary, the grapics seem very meticulously done. I'm personally a bit fed up with the style, though.

Please consult the sticky threads in the adventure related talk and chat forum.

Well, they're still called Incas.

It just makes me feel like this person doesn't really care what the image is on as long as someone buys it which makes me think that they don't really care about the image just that it's on items people might buy.

No one is allowed to question igor's bg abilities,
Everyone's allowed to do that. As long as they provide some sort of back-up arguments or constructive c&c. This is the critics lounge, not a personal fansite.

I think the actual problem here is that Eric hates all drinkers and hopes they'll die.

The initial mittens had booze, although it was actually only Candyman who got really drunk.
My mittens included very little alcohol, and no nights at pubs/clubs. I was drunk myself once but it was an isolated incident, I hope. I tried to arrange activities and force everybody to participate, so that people could break the ice without alcohol.
Mittens USA also had close to zero alcohol, which was also due to the fact that the crew was fairly small (and quite well acquainted, mostly) and we had a locale to be in. There were also activities.
Mittens Greece was quite peacefully devoid of drunkenness (except for AGA, but that was harmless and fun). People were well acquainted at this point and there was no need for special acitivities or booze. However, the group was relatively big this time and split up on occassions.
Wintermeet...only one night out, which totally rocked! Celebrating the new year dancing with Grundislav, Blazej and Dominika was awesome. But over all, not much booze.
Brightens saw Spleen as frantic as ever, and that certainly added to the atmosphere. It was a great meeting over all.

Personally I've cut back on alcohol quite dramatically, which is because of a) I'm getting way too tired and hung-over to appreciate the drunkenness, and B) I have a steady relationship, and that tends to calm down that sort of behaviour...

Anyhow, I promise to attend the next meeting.

And since Pluto is not a planet anymore, they'll make the sun a planet instead, and the Earth must take over as a the sun.
Escape while there is time, fools!!

Roughly how much fun do you reckon my absence took away from this year's mittens?
Did you actually have fun at all?
#2850

Welcome back! I missed you guys!
Please provide us with lots of photos and embarassing stories.

BTW who texted me a few nights ago?

Awesome art.
While I can agree on some of Loom's points, I sort of enjoyed the original water-colour feeling of the painting. The exaggarated values and highlights certainly added a touch of something wear-and-tear, but it also delivered something comical a la Franquin.

You have a great sense for shapes and fine details, and the overall composition is great. However, it lacks regional highlighting and shading just like 2ma2 pointed out. Furthermore, I'd revise those eyes; either make them shine brightly, or add iris; right now she just appears blind.
Also...the hand...I mean, I understand the tree-esque aspect of her constitution, but in the same time the huge clawlike hands take away immensely from her beauty and femininity. Just a few thoughts. Great job overall!

Voh, that's insulting. People might have interesting and relevant things to say, without being capable of handling even the [italics]easiest[/italics] format code.

The last two days have been great. Someone at my job screwed up with the schedules, leaving me reduntant but still payed. Isn't that the best way to be?
I've been home doing nothing in particular, cleaning up a bit, working on a plaster sculpture that I intend to give my honeybird on our six-month anniversary tomorrow. Time flies.
I've already got a full time job for the entire autumn, and in the spring I'll finish my teacher education after a stupid amount of time wasted on doing things half-arsed. The only period of fruitful studies was the semester in Brighton, when I produced some really nice papers, including my final thesis which I still read every now and then with pride.
I'm missing Mittens (the first one without me:(), but I have neither money or money at the moment. I'll take some time off in december to visit some of you.

That's a great sketch, Linus. Watch and learn, everybody!

It must be a darn strange context if you can put each and every statement on that list in it and make it reasonable
#2858
It would be funnier if it was about CJ or somebody.
Now I just know that someone I didn't know anything about is a horrible person, and likes to bring attention to it.
#2859
Ok, since this is all based on what I hope is someone's drunk ramblings, I'm gonna lock it up.
Mental note of today; Don't post crap, and if you're gonna be all judgemental and sanctimonious, make sure you have the story straight.

Afflict, when Eric said read the thread, he didn't mean this thread, he meant the thread pslocum linked to, the one where the notorious thread-starter called his boss something along the lines of "fuckhead nigger" or whatnot.

Tuomas, you have probably been posting alot while drunk. Please stop. Racist comments (when they're not meant ironically, as in the case with Eric and Helm) are not accepted, and you'd probably have realised that in a sober state.
