Nice space-quest style. Now for the criticism: The room looks kinda empty; ad some more consoles and computers.

I wrote the walktrough for my game before I started the game-making,
so I knew what would happen...

Is that odd?

QuoteSo...how does he get back? I mean, if the helmet gets left behind, isn't he kinda stuck? Or does he have little remote control with him?
He doesn't need a remote. Since it's about time travel he can send himself back before he left...

Have you noticed (or is it jus me ) that once you gon to this forum-section, there's no way back to the ags-site? So If you hear about a game in here, and want to download it from the ags-site, you got to reload the entire site. Maybee there is some link here but I sure can't find it...

I thaught about giving my common-looking hero the name John J. Murdoch. I think it gives the hero a certain touch of heroizm. I allso thaught about giving the most important female non-player-character the name Mercedes. (that is in fact a girls name.)

Looks good. I like that the branches of the tree to the right makes it look human. And now for the criticism: The sign is very very hard to read. I can't read it at all, as a matter of fact. And there is something fishy about the gate, I can't pinpoint it but I think it looks a little odd, maybe it's the perspective?

That must me John Silver from Treasure island, right?

Reminds me somewhat of 'James Pond - underwater agent'...

Critics' Lounge / Re:Reactor-room. Again...

I made the edges of the reactors a litle darker, but i got trouble making them look cylindrical whitout using to many colours or ruin my 'art concept'.  (Observe the HAL 9000 -eye on the wall...)

Critics' Lounge / Reactor-room. Again...
Sun 15/06/2003 18:05:42
I posted my reactor-room here for a couple of months ago, and now I've changed it. I decided that a reaktor with an open reactor-pool was not good on a space-station, So I modifyed it and installed a couple of low-cost, pre-owned russian submarine-reactors from the days of USSR. Since my game takes place in a distant future, you can imagine the age of those babes. It's a bad jpeg-pic from my original bmp, but a jpg looks better that the gif... C and C, please.

I've lost enough money on the stock-market to buy the damn market...

Capitalism isn't evil. It's those evil socialists that tries to make us beleave that 'cos they are to lazy to study or work to earn lots of money themself, and 'cos they don't have any money, they don't think that anyone else shoud have either...

Otherwise it might be a god concept for a game, if you manage to terminate all ways of inside information that coud gain profit for a sertain person just because he knows that his good friend whose 'stock value' is very low soon will release the game of the century...

I begin by drawing some backgrounds, and if they turn out good, and I liked them, I start to think about how to use them in a game... This may sound strange, but if I first makes a plot and then start drawing, it might turn out bad, and then I'm stuck with this plot that I can't draw backgrounds to. Using my way, I might end up with some backgrounds that I never use, but I still feel more confotable this way...
