Is that dark-dark-blue pixel on his sideburn supposed to be one of his eyes?  ::)

I talk like that when I'm drunk, but then I don't understand myself. So ya all think that I shall go for the 'undeveloped' speech-style? Me too. Could be hard with the converstaions, but I don't have to write those multi-Gigabyte dialogue-scripts. Instead it will be "ARRRGH!", "Lrrrrrgh!", "Urug [Censored] Oona!", "Urugh kill !!", and "Hhhhhh" that fills the 'need' for communication for those poor cave-bastards...

Looks great -exept for the door.
The thick brown lines looks so different from all the other thin black lines.
Use those on the door too, and It will look great -whitout exepts...

Adventure Related Talk & Chat / Caveman game.
Sun 11/05/2003 21:36:00
I thaught about making a game about this caveman named Urugh or when i've finished the game i'm currently doing (in may 2035 or something.)

Anyway: Today I watched this documentary on Discovery channel about cavemen, and they said that they thaugt that the cave-mens use of language probably was very 'basic' and uncomplikated.

In my game, shoud I the characters say "Oona, Would you be kind and hand me that stone-axe" or shoud I be 'realistic' and use "Oona! hand Urugh stoneaxe!" ?

I'd like to go for the second alternative, but maybee it gets iritating?

You save a girl that walks around in a string-bikini from gettting raped by a slimy alien and she thanx you by showing her titts...  :-\ Hmmm...

Jimi: Is there still some parts of the piping that is wrong or are you just sad that I removed the escher-effect?

Neole: I've thatught about that, yes. Maybee the hero got to do some of his normal chores and solve some easy problems before the 'real adventure' begins, just like Sonny Bondis in Police Quest 1 had to kiss a girl (or write her a ticket) and put a drunk driver in custody before the Death Angel appered...
#328
Yeah, I thaugh so myself too... One of those barrels are going to leak if misstreated, making the hero glow in he dark...
#329
Funny, Mr moderator...  :P
#330
The barrels are supposed to pe painted in a bright yellow 'warning' -colour, but maybee they are a little to bright?

Ta-daa! The Modified Reactor-Room. I got rid of the escher-effect by adding som lines and by almost hiding the pipes in a very clever way behind the crane-thing. I allso changed the fence around the pool, and added some cables and 'fuseboxes' on the walls, and some barrels of radioactive waste. (A must-bee in all adventure-games) There will be no lights or consoles in the reactor-room, cos itwill be controlled from the reactor controll-room. Anything missing? Any sugestions?
#333
Maybee a blue mug would fullfill the picture?
#334
Thanx for all your feedback. I'm now working on a updated version, and have removed the escher-effect on the pipes. The reactor's top  is seen at the bottom of the pool. I don't know why it looks like this, but it does. (Evidence below) i don't know if this water is the heavy water (d2o) it uses for moderator or if it's just used for cooling. (the moderator is used to slow down the neutorns so that the chain-reaction stays inside the reactor and continues to split atoms instead of 'Going Tjeronbyl'. But Tjeronobyl used carbon (c) as moderator. Ain't I educative?)

it's supposed to be a heavy-water moderated fission-reactor in the base in the 'real' game that i'm working on. (not the Larrry1 -style that I'm allso working on) Does it look like one? Should i add more pipes/cables? More strange gadgets on the walls? I know the perspective isn't correct, but it only took about 1 hour to make. If you find the fault with the pipelining, don't remind me: I know...

Nince work Neole, but since this is the critics lounge: Ice is not the first thing i think of when i see this picture, I dunno why, but maybee she doesn't look 'cold' enough...
#338
Ok... and where do I find a girl like that?  ::)

1 Changed the magenta-pnk to a more 'neutral' pink
2 Changed the sky from bluse-blue to cheerfull-blue

And I'm kinda 'proud' of the stairs myself, too...  :P

Danska är iallafall nästan lika lätt som svenska, eller hur Scarpia?
