I'm completely stuck and can't find any help on the forums.  Here's my inventory:

I have the comm key, pruning shears, squash with a face on it and the silver dollar stuck to it, bag of chile powder, alcoholic drink, red bingo dauber, striped glove.

What do I do?

I cannot figure out how to get the combination for the lock.  I've looked at the hints and I'm still stumped.  I have the salt shaker, necklace and crystal, bottle of cleaner, bible and GPS.

Okay, I bought the ticket, repaired the guitar, washed my clothes.  The store owner won't talk to me about a new job.  I can't do anything in Music Inn except sit at the table and drink water.

I'm stuck again - what do I do?

I recommend you first to read this thread, because about most of the problems you can already find hints.

This way you won't have to wait (getting crazy) until someone is online for answering. 

...in this game you have to look very thoroughly everywhere in every scene. It's very tricky sometimes (at least for me). For starting I would recommend you to discover all the accessible parts to get a clue, what to do next. Maybe you should try to find

Thanks, I read the thread and it didn't help me.  I recall that hint about the alley but I searched for it but couldn't find it.  Oh well, time to look again.

I started the game an hour ago and I'm stuck.  I have the wine bottle, score, guitar, wallet, beam, cleaning cloth, nails, town map, gauze.  I got the town map in the subway station but the policeman keeps kicking me out.  What do I do now?

I just finished this superb game.  I got stuck a few times along the way and I'm grateful for the hints I found in this forum.  Thanks a lot everyone.

my inventory is fishing pole,peppers wrench paint brush with paint mop ginger.been on both ships,put forks down on lift truck can't get the forklift running,can't get salt,i think a motor is in the big box?can't talk to cook can't add to stew,went to diner 3 times,can't get around dog,it will not eat my peppers or ginger,can't get in the diner,talked to sailors,talked to mama,same thing over and over.got prop and pin for steering for plane.thats it i'm stuck,can't do nothing.need help and a lot of it.thanks

I'm in the same situation.  I read the hints given in response to this post and I still can't figure out what to do next.  I guess I need a more explicit hint.

The game is in German.  I notice one of the files says English.tra  I assume there's some way to translate the game into English but I don't have a clue how to do it.
