I just had a "to heck with it" moment and just bought the Wacom Bamboo. It's really nice piece of solid hardware (no el cheapo feel or anything), and it's really responsive. One thing that I noticed is that it's really thin, it's maybe 0.5cm high. So far I'm just trying to get used to it. One of the hardest habbit to get rid of is "mouse dragging" That, and the "harder i press the bigger fatter the line" option.

and because of the A6 format, it's actually a decent way of browsing :P

I've been thinking of getting the wacom one myself too. Looks like a nice little device, altho the drawing surface is A6, which is rather small

He records it kind of like a walkthrough, sometime with some popup screens with some facts in it

Looking great, downloading it now.

I've been fiddeling with the MUGEN engine again lately and thought it might make an appropriate Sprite Jam topic. We're all used to making rather stiff standing, talking or walking animation etc. for AGS. But fighter characters are a whole lot more dynamic in posture and body language. So I thought it would make a nice exercise regarding general anatomy.

RULES

1. Your character has to be ofcourse a fighter character. The character itself does not have to be original content, so if you want a kung-fu Le Chuck or a Sumo wrestling Ben it's all fine by me.

2. There is no limit on color or size of your character.

3. Any pose is allowed, a kick attack, special fireball thingy, devestating uppercut or simply an idle pose. Thats up to you.

4. Bonus points for good posture. Fighters in fighting games are all about attitude, so strike a pose.

As a bit of inspiration, this is the character I'm currently working on. A fighter based around the french fighting sport 'Savate'

Here are some trophies for those interested.

Those are bollards. The one you mention are meant to keep unauthorized people out of things like buslanes

Like here you can see people not getting the clue DO NOT ENTER (especially the first car who even stands in front of the raised bollards). And it serves them right. There are enough warning signs around that these devices raise from the ground and you should not enter if you're not authorized.

might want to lock this one aswell

Thanks :)

..And now for the dreadfull task of thinking up a good theme for the next Spritejam

A description of rundll:

QuoteSince there's no way to directly launch a DLL file, the rundll32.exe application is simply used to launch functionality stored in shared .dll files. This executable is a valid part of Windows, and normally shouldn't be a threat.

Note: the valid process is normally located at \Windows\System32\rundll32.exe, but sometimes spyware uses the same filename and runs from a different directory in order to disguise itself. If you think you have a problem, you should always run a scan to be sure.

and for the other question, seems like you need a fresh windows install or run a good virus scan and see if that helps getting it out

Witnessed too many 'close calls' in traffic lately. Last week I was driving on an 80km/h lane when on to other lane all of the sudden one of those damn 40 km/h cars gets on the road without looking or turning signal or anything. A car behind him had to do an emergancy brake and almost hit it that damn scoot mobile in the back. Think that poor guy almost had a heart attack.

Also, Stuff like this makes me laugh:

What part of "red means stop" didn't he understand in driving school?

That's an awesome villain Loominous :P Love it how you put the text in old comic book style.

I'm working on something also, hopefully I'll have it finished before the deadline tonight ;)

Behold! The amazing amnesiac! Mindreader extraordinaire!

..unfortunatly he has issues with his short term memory..

The idea comes from an article I recently read: 'superuseless superpowers'
Extraordinaire gifts, which have absolutly no use.

Safe from second life MMORPG's bandwidth consumption isn't that bad, only when there are (huge) patches.

Watched a few things on youtube, last.fm or something similar lately? You'de be surprized how fast your data consumption rises with streaming content.

One thing I never understood was why they changed their name to that uninspiring '3D Realms'. 'Apogee' sounded much better, not to mention  I (and most likely others) have fond memories of the games they made under that name
