Tried once to make an RPG a few years back with the old and known RPGmaker2000. Never got further then making some character sets tho.
Also a big drawback was that the damn program needed to be installed on the computer to make the game work.

Diablo 2 with/without expansion, the game I played for years on the internet on 56k modem (oh the humanity when those phonebills came)

The first game I played was from a friend of mine called Escape from the Salem Moons about 2 years ago. I'm currently helping him with a sequal to this game.

I really should get me a tablet, drawing quick with a mouse is quite a pain :)

Next: An alternate reality of full throttle.. hmm, too obscure :-\ Better make it An massive multiplaying AGS game

WEll, thats pretty obscure too, so sue me..

Not too shabby, if i do say so.

Altho you might want to do something about his head.
IMO its
A: Too big. I think it should be 60 or 70% of the size it is now to get a good proportion.
B: Too round, try giving it a more human like physique, now it looks like a big balloon

The body it selfs looks fine, no comment there.

I think they would carry more tools around then only a plunger and a spanner.

Yeah, all that plumbing makes a mario hungry

hmm, a DOTT fangame  :=

The char looks good, but his arms are a bit weird. The way he has them now makes him look like hes readying himself for an old texas showdown.

Also, i think its supposed to be a chest pocket but it makes his left arm (right from our point of view) too long.

Oh yea, I remember that one :) The char creation was really great, playing with colors on your fighter, buying upgrades etc.

Too bad their latest version of OMF, OMF Battlegrounds, kinda was a let down.

oh, I have alot of games wich I get nostalgic with.

Apart from the most obvious, like monkey island or leisure suit larry, these are some of the games wich I get nostaligic with.

Secret of Mana

I never owned this game myself tho (I had a sega myself at that time), but a friend of mine had it on his snes and we played it almost every day for months in a row. Too bad that the sequal never was released outside of japan. Instead we got secret of evermore and the SoM sequal is only available as a fan-sub ROM game known as Seiken Denetsu 3.

Bio Menace

Like commander keen, only with blood and gore. Yea, probably my first "bloody" shooter :)

Sim city

Everybody knows this game. The classic that started it all. I sucked at it tho :)

A very nice background. Reminds of Baldurs Gate.

Nice style you got there. Altho the noses look a bit weird :)

The thing that bugs me tho is the punkers left shoulder (right from our point of view) is longer then his right.

Also, is the arm of the drunk guy supposed to be that long ? He can actually touch the ground without bending over

*NOTE* Don't be jumping of buildings because of this, ya hear?

NEXT: AGS in the year 3000

personally I'de say the first one, the last one is too orange for my taste.

Altho this just might be me :)
#298
heh, this is fun to do, everyone should try it.

Drawed this while listening to: In Flames - System

Interesting topic, combining animals.
I tried to do a human, bull, wolf combo. But the end result looked more like a minotaur with a wolfhead attached to it. (the loincloth is there for obvious reasons ;D) Also some of its muscles in his arms look funny, I never really get the hang of it.
Drawn by hand first, then traced in paint. (traced picture: http://www.2dadventure.com/ags/arbschimeratracked.jpg)

yea, that looks better. Altho I would change the up arrow button a bit so that the lower left of the button resembled the upper left of the down arrow button.
