To the skies and beyond! That is, until I hit the ceiling.

BTW: Who burned down the trees near my tower? :(

don't remind me.. Back in the day where everyone was making their own websites without templates, and very limited knowledge.

Transport Tycoon Deluxe. It still has awesome gameplay compared to games now. And with OpenTTD you can easily play it in windows, with some added options for larger resolutions etc.

For a more recent title I'de suggest Tropico 3, it's great playing as el presidente. But it's more of a simcity  type of game.

Actually, truth is that  i was just too lazy to continue and code the enemies. The flat sprites don't bother me at all.

(I'm much more in favour of this than another GoldenAxe beat em up)

I haven't gotten around doing much anyway. I was still working on the initial control scheme last time i worked on it ;) It's still missing running and jumping.

I'll upload the code tonight if you're interested. But I warn you, it was made in under an hour ontop of an already messy code ;)

I don't think you'd want the code for my last shmup update. (thread)

It's not exactly clean ;P

I'm sad to say that I've never been part of the cool crowd :'(

Mark, isn't the air supposed to be dark on top and lighter on the lower part? in other words, just the other way around then you have now? :P just and observation

Splitscreen is what I miss in alot of  modern games these days. Most are either singleplay or only have online mp, which is quite a shame. Games like GRID would be so much more fun with splitscreen play, but for some reason they haven't included it.

I preferred Phantasy Star over those however.

Same here. Luckily  both the PS and SF  titles were on the recent Sega Mega Drive ultimate collection. I love me some retro gaming

That sounds good:

Steam: Arbz (These days mostly Battlefield Bad Company 2 for mp)
PS3: Arbzeh   (playing on the euro servers; SFVI, SSFVI, Blazblue, GT IV prologue, burnout paradise,  GTA4, Saints row 2, killzone 2)
Xbox360: Can't remember, and it's not hooked at the tv atm. (It made way too much fan noise, which i find quite irritating)
