Why on earth would you use selective scanline? When by definition the bits that require raytracing (volumetrics and reflection) are the bits which take up all the processing power.

Anyone have any ideas how to make an action game

Yes. Learn another engine.

The matrix? o_O No, it was inspired by many things, but I doubt the Matrix played a role.

Terran: video card has nothing to do with rendering a picture by raytracing, that's all done by the processor.

evil and Bob the Hun: yes, it's called schizophrenia

The proudest moment in my life was when I worked out, WITHOUT random clicking, that in order to get vinegar for the super battery in DOTT I had to ferment the wine for a few hundred years. Oh yeah, that and the making a tentacle-shaped american flag costume XD

Do what I did, use low res :P Seriously, it's easy to learn and to work with.

* Archangel hugz his low res

rofl! That's the funniest house I've ever heard of. I hope you and your flatmate can see the funny side, otherwise it could get pretty annoying pretty quickly.

Ouch! Three mb for a minute and a half file? You might want to decrease the bitrate to 128kbps

lol guys, that's great - it still can't quite match the tinny echo of the PC speaker though ;)

Or the inevitable, mind numbing, piercing volume

Masse, why don't you just change the image to a png, upload it, and edit your original post? It's a lot more useful than trying to be funny. I'm sorry if that sounded cutting, but I get really tired of people needlessly wasting my bandwidth with bmps when they can quite easily use png or gif.

Yeah I was planning to hack my school, but fortunately for me, since I had never heard of the words 'firewall' and 'ip trace', I never carried that out.
#395
jannar: sounds like netbus to me. That means some random bloke was sitting at his comp clicking open cd drive, close cd drive...

I tried hacking my friend with netbus when I was 11 (with his consent). I kinda forgot to send him the trojan executable tho, so my plan never came to fruition.

Get a codec. It's worth it; judging by the performance in the high treble ranges of ogg versus mp3, it's gonna become a lot more popular among musicians.

I got all the way to Ireland in Broken Sword without a walkthrough, got completely stuck, and ended up using a walkthough to complete the rest in a day. How that sucked.

Hehe, of course it's just coincidence that any post with 'erotica' in the title immediately jumps to at least two pages in size.
