Only one thing I would say, and that is that he's fully antialiased; is this gonna give you a purple haze when you import it into the game? Or have you thought about that already?

Here it is, right on schedule: the demo of Path of Crystal. It represents what you might call the prologue of the game; I plan there to be three more chapters, each 2-3 times longer than this demo. I'm interested to hear what you have to say!

Not bad at all. I would warn, however, against using non-standard midi sounds, for example the metronome noises and the other sound (I can't tell if it's a vinyl scratch or guitar fret) in somemusic.mid

One more thing, putting unfinished songs on your demo page isn't really a good idea for all kinds of reasons.

As you can see, not all the lines on the wall extend to a single vanishing point; this is particularily noticeable where the left half of the wall isn't in line with the right half.

Good job on the colours and shading, tho.

Yeah I originally said 24 bit, then I realised AGS uses 16 bit, so I edited it. So yeah, 16 bit not 16 colours.

See if your ISP gives you a bit of webspace. They normally have no banners and allow hotlinking.

Edit: to those who may be confused, a college is a place of schooling, somewhere between secondary (high) school and university, and a campus is the entire area taken up by a school, college or university, including playing fields, buildings, paths and roads, whatever.

I v.like the descending suspended 4th thing you've got going on in the piano, and the fast harp bits, and your use of dynamics. Only way to improve it would be to make it longer, but I know you don't want a full length piece, so leave it. Oh yeah, and the piano left hand could be doing something, but I dunno if that would mess up the arrangement or not.

Well, picking up a point at random, the most instruments you ever use is 3. You don't have to use more than three instruments at once, but it would be better to swap themes around different instruments.

Sugar's not quite as bad as fat, as long as you exercise. Of course, if you don't exercise then it will accumulate and get converted into fats anyway.

Angel85: most of what you say are good arguments. However, the point about the law of thermodynamics... you CAN get order out of chaos, IF you put energy into a system. Where does that energy come from? The sun, of course! A bloody huge thermonuclear power plant on our doorstep. So of course, evolution makes perfect sense, if you take religion out of the picture and reason it through.

I used to do shokotan karate. Got to 2nd kyu (brown belt with one white stripe) when I was 12 then gave up. I still don't know why.
