Oh well, guess I'll do with it. Hey, it's free!!!

Hehe it's so refreshing to hear someone say that for a change! Anyway, I think the idea, Smash, is that unused sprites don't take up much space neither do they cause slowdown, so allowing you to delete them would probably cause more problems than it would solve.

Happy AGSing ^,^

I don't give a shit if it turns into a flame war.

We do. Which is why your threads keep getting locked.

Awesome! The only thing that bugs me is that the walls are the same colour and texture as the floor.

Are you both using the latest version of AGS, and do you have at least DirectX 8.1? You can get DirectX9.0b from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/

Let me get this straight Jodo; you make a post requesting an open and adult discussion, at the end of which you reveal that you've subscribed your "enemies" to porn mailings?

How... mature

My preferred way of uninstalling Windows is with an axe.

Failing that, you could try the ole electromagnet-to-the-hdd trick.

Go Leks \o/ all the best to you.

Whoa whoa hang on a second... there's someone else in your school apart from you who actually knows who Ron Gilbert is?! The statistical probablility of that must be tiny! (there's generally a limit of one adventure game geek within a 5 mile radius)

!

You're one of those people who posts blatantly amazing things to make us feel bad, aren't you ;P

EMI, piff :P You people are so predictable

Final Fantasy 8.

Next question: worst sequal ever? (can't be an ff game, I already called that :P )
#93
Indiana Jones :P

But seriously, I think Broken Sword's got the whole action-romance-adventure-cheesy conspiracy thing going on.

Next: if you were to fuse an adventure game with another genre, to create something along the lines of a FPRTS, for example, what would that genre be?

Well, from what I can tell from the IMDB entries, Cold Creek Manor would be kinda cool, you could be solving puzzles to uncover secret areas in the manor house and stuff.

Next question: not adventure game related, but it is game related: which are you looking forward to most, Half Life 2 or Deus Ex 2, and why? (I know which one I'll be buying)

Of course I thought of LGM straight away, but being from the UK I'd have to face either 1. a hideous import cost for a tape or CD or 2. a hideous 64k DCC

At first I was like "oh joy, a furry in a sailor suit -_-".

But then I watched the intro sequence.

Yees, a joke song... it's a pity it's not remotely funny. Stop taking yourself and your fake little company so seriously, Mr. Jack.

Hehehe I just listened to his mp3. Now I know it's a joke. Or if it isn't, this guy is seriously high on something...
