If you're wiling to back the higher tiers you get the older games as part of it. But really 1 & 2 are the best, 3 was meh and 4 was OK.Play #1 for sure though.

I can do a short thing on working with amateur voice actors if you'd like? ( and if people are interested) I already did one panel at an anime con this year so won't be too much work to sort a presentation out.

I agree his face looks odd, the design looks very like those french anime inspired shows you get now rather than the classic Western animation/comic book style of the originals, the clips from the original really show that up. I wonder if enough backers comment they will change it? At least with 3D you can can do that. Stil will back, at the end of the day I'm about the adventuring most of all.

For USB mics you can't really go wrong with either a Blue Snowball or Yeti.  I also think taking time to cast properly is important, a lot of first time game peeps seem to rush things or cast before they need to. Really voice casting can some toward the end when the script is finalized and your game has taken shape.
As for finding people there's a sizeable amateur voice acting community. I run one site and there are others as well as a few sub communities on other game making sites.

Ooh nice work on the location scouting, I think it can be prettied up fairly easy with some posters and stuff.

I was joking, I think a youth centre or university might be a better shot?

There was Broken Sword 2.5 a while back, the presentation was gorgeous but it was totally ruined by lack of basic research ( they had a subway in York I seem to remember). Good luck with this, but be sure to fact check if you use real locations.

I  had an awesome time, thanks everyone for making me so welcome. Once I get my PC back I will upload more pics and stuff. I tried about 3 times to catch some of the live VO but missed most of it, did get some footage of live game playing though.

Just ask anyone with a twitter account to use the hastag #adventurex when they tweet. It essentially tags the tweets, so people can filter for related tweets.
