Wow thank you for suck detailed feedback.  This is my progress so far with the lineart. I saw that you'd made the face a bit bigger and rounder so I ran with that and made it even chunkier, ( matching my normal lineart style). Since it's generally a bit bigger anyway I took your leads and added some more detail and gave him a Chinese style top.

His arms are supposed to be swinging forward to balance out his feet but it looks off so I will probably redraw those.

The recolours have given me a lot to think about too and once I have ironed out the bugs with this I'll give him a colouring in.

Finally getting off my butt and practising my skills so hopefully at some point I can make a simple game.  First I want to get my general art skills up to scratch, once I get the front view sorted I will do a turn around and then hopefully have a go at some animations. Your wisdom would be appreciated  :)

The Rumpus Room / Re: Sam and Max Cancelled!

People seem to spend ages releasing the source code to things like Doom 3 I wish they'd  actually be useful and release Sam & Max.

On a good note Revolution are hinting at steel sky 2 yay!

I like voice acting if done properly, if it annoys you when the speech is slower that the test turn it off ;P
Games like Shenmue 2 ( go Japanese Seiyuu!), and the later Monkey Islands really worked because they had some really good acting .

Simon one is my favourite adventures  I played it on the Amiga Cd32 ( to show you how long that was ^^). I loved it to bits although  I was kinda put off by the changing of the voice actor from the guy who played Rimmer in red dwarf.
