the entertainment center looks good at an angle but the back edge of the top surface should be parrallel{sp?} with the front edge.

it's probably a corner unit  :)

the carpet looks more like ice to me and doesn't reall suit the colours used in the rest of the room, also it's too similar to the colour of the pillows.

edit - i played about with changing the colour of the carpet...

WanderLady: well, there's only 176 colours in that pic, PNG doesn't give that horrible artifacting compressiony effect thingy that JPG does, even if you save that picture with 1% jpg compression you end up with artifacting and 6730 colours...

Darth Mandarb: if you're wondering how i guessed that you're left handed it was because of the angle of the isometricness (315° rather than 45°) i figured that would be easier for somebody left handed than right, ain't i clever?  :D

Darth, that's pretty spiffing, are you by any chance left handed?

i wish blade runner had used voxels, or even polygons, the characters were 3D sprites, they get real blocky when they're close to the camera, but it's a stunning looking game, but then, i'm blade runner mad...

the problem with the character on the background is that the car is casting a shadow, but the character isn't, but they're great backgrounds and the character is good, but i'm not too keen on the sideways walk, his head moves about weird and why is he blinking all the time?

the last time i installed a free version of TrueSpace3 i messed up the registry on 2 computers, i couldn't even use safemode.
but that was a few years ago, and i like TrueSpace and seeing as my TrueSpace4.2 cd isn't working anymore i might download it, or find my free copy of TrueSpace2 again...

there's already a team AGS, that's why CSers with short memories keep wandering in to #ags, i've never really seen the point of clans anyway, or even counter-strike for that matter, i prefer to go it alone with all guns blazing in UT or even Quake2, so meh...

I must say that I weighed about 67 kilos before I met my wife and now weigh about 80. And she still loves me! Part of this is down to my stopping cycling because I now live too far from work (15 miles, which I can do but I don't want to spend 2 hours a day travelling and besides I need to take the baby with me sometimes)

But my kilt only just fits these days
:( :( :(

cut down on the haggis suppers and deep fried mars bars then  ;D

OT - talking of haggis, i wish there was a scottish chip shop in my town, there's enough scottish people here (including my dad)...

if you create the text as a vector object you can kinda scew it by holding down shift and moving either the top, bottom, left or right little square things, for some stupid reason it doesn't work on the corners like it does with normal floating text, with normal floating text you go to  Deformation (just below the magnify tool) and hold shift or ctrl and move the corners, but then you'll get that horrible blurring around the edges, OR you could use one of the geometric perspective effects, OR a better option might be to do your text in WordArt, take a screenshot then paste it into your image...

hope you find some of that helpful...

heh, he kinda reminds me of Morph (little guy made of plastecine) and bares a slight resemblence to the tango man, i think it may look better if he was looking down at his heart rather than forwards, also would help if the background were not orange, is it makes him hard to see...
