Robocod got re-released on the gameboy and PSone, if you got either one of those. (Or play the PSone version on a PS2)

(Is it not on the PC? I suppose the CD32 version did have more colours probably..)

the GBA version is different to the original, it doesn't have penguins in it and some of the enemies are different because of copyright stuff, plus the originals (especially when it comes to amiga games) are always the best.

neat.
i've been looking for a copy of the original Worms United (worms plus the reinforcements pack together), the Sold Out version is crap, they added their stupid installer software and took off the Ocean logo video and scenario and it just generally doesn't feel the same to play now.

the thing to remember about Athlons is that they out perform or perform just aswell as a Pentium a few hundred MHz faster then them, it's why AMD don't really bother putting the speed in the name anymore...

yep, and in the same week i broke an AGP slot on a pc when the graphics card decided it didn't want to come out, and i had an old TNT2 card stop working for no good reason.

if the paralax scroller plugin supportes vertical scrolling then he could in theory use that...

the extra memory does make a difference so you should always go for a 256mb card.
personally i have a 256mb AOpen GeForce 6800GT which is pretty good and they're not uber-expensive, but now you can probably get an Ultra for the same price i paid for the GT, the 6800 Ultra is pretty much the best AGP card you can get, the Radeon 9800XT is also a good card but they are power hungry and have a tendancy to overheat, radeon cards also don't work that well in computers with ASUS motherboards with VIA chipsets, something i only found out after frying my 9800XT by hooking a seperate PSU up to it because i thought the lockups were caused by the card not getting enough power, and then buying a 256mb 9600XT (which isn't a bad card for the price).

this all reminds me of that 'Life and Death 2 - The Brain' game, from that i learned you can't diagnose if a patient has had a stroke by sticking a sharp needle in their eye.
it's on abandonia if anyone's interested.

Weird how the put them under "Shareware" tho.Ã,  :-\

they seem to put everything under shareware. guess they can't be bothered to add a freeware section to the coverdisc menu...

also, Rode, it would be awesome if you made Earwig 2 :D

he had some other challenge a while ago where he said he'd give $10,000 to anyone that made a game where you have to travel to E3 and start killing everyone.
a few games were made and he didn't pay any money at all.
penny arcade donated $10k to some charity though.

i've always maintained that deja-vu is brain lag, something happens but your brain doesn't register it straight away.
i get lots of deja-vu, it used to make me feel sick to my stomach. i also just happen to be epileptic.
