I can hardly believe I have the honour of giving the first serious answer! o_o

I'd change Grim Fandango so that he doesn't fall in love with whatserface, because it was almost completely illogical that he would. They never even knew each other, it made no sense whatsoever. On top of that, she was a bitch. I hated that ending.

While I'm at it, I'd change Kyrandia so that Brynn was wearing some kind of medieval bikini... oh, sorry, serious answers... right.

if he hadn't of fallen in love with her the story kinda wouldn't have progressed, the adventure was driven by his obsession with her...

but if i could change anything about games i'd make it so that they all have chiptune soundtracks and really nice skyboxes...

you could find out what it may look like by recreating both you and your girlfriend in Sims 2 and then make them have a baby...
#807
personally i'd say go for having the baby and hell no to getting married because somebody else wants you to, but ultimately the decision is up to the both of you.

one good thing to do might be to size up each others' connections and specs to see who will make the better host (unless ofcourse somebody has access to a dedicated server... which, if there's servery stuff for mac, i might be able to arrange with a friend of mine)...
okay, so i have a downstream of 2mb and upstream of 256k, Athlon64 3400+ with 1gb of ram.

Yeah Soul reaver 2! Or rather whichever episode concluded most of the story line (I reckon it was the game after this one) the ending of that ruled when the bad guy got his come uppance!

that'll be Defiance, wasn't too keen on that one, i didn't like the way i couldn't control the camera and i didn't like being limited to just the reaver either, and i missed the elemental fonts that were in SR2 that controlled which power the reaver had, plus the "puzzles" were too samey and boring and there weren't any cool demons until late on and Kain killed those guys easily.
i don't like the way the story was concluded in such a boring game and there were some continuity errors that are just annoying, it'd be great if they made another proper Soul Reaver game where you just get to play as Raziel with some awesome puzzles.

but apart from all that another game that really does something for me is EVE Online, which i haven't ever actually played but it's so beautiful i just love looking at screenshots.

playing Soul Reaver 2 always fills me with an overwhelming sense of joy, i'd probably cry if somebody stole it (and eat their soul).

why not contact the director and ask her about it? it could be a mistake on her behalf...
also, VirtualDub will combine the video and audio for you but it can't output MPEG files (imports them just fine)only AVI, i'm not sure if it can import AIF but you can always convert that to WAV easily with cooledit or something.
if you do manage to convert it all to a single MPEG2 then you don't really have to worry about converting it all to the proper dvd format since nearly all dvd players will play mpeg files that are just sitting on the disc and should have a directory listing which shows all playable files.
you could also grab the free trial of ULead VideoStudio if you want ease of use to do all the stuff, it also has different presets for creating your final product (like SVCD and DVD) and is really easy to cr.. use.

Why do the skateboard wheels move?

so that the skateboard may traverse flat terrain with less effort than if the wheels did not move...
also, if you look at many old games which involve things with wheels they may sometimes move in seemingly strange ways until you take into account the limitations faced by games programmers and sprite technicians in those magic days before unlimited colour palettes and 3D acceleration to which we modern gamers owe many thanks.

basically you have to use a brush 1 pixel high and 2 pixels wide.
or you could create your image and resize it so it's 200% wider but the same height (like if you make a 16x16 sprite resize it so it's 32x16, that will give you double wide pixels)

being as i am of non-american personship i know practically nothing about thanksgiving but here are my entries anyway...

first here's the main title screen

yes, the game is called "Laced Turkey Mania" (brought to you by the creators of Suicidal Acid Junkies from HULL)

and here we have the game's "hero", Sunburned Boxing Lawyer Man

not much to do with thanksgiving i know, but it is kind of a symbol of american culture...

his powerups are:

Budweiser, one bottle of which causes him to stagger about knocking things over.

and a McDonalds Big Mac Meal (with coke) which makes him three times his original size allowing him to flatten all who stand before him, although too many of these powerups may increase risk of heart disease...

and now to the enemies...

first up we have the Skateboarding Toxic PooDog

higher up the food chain we have the Axe-wielding Blind Spinning Indian of Nakedness (he has no eyes)

the next baddie is the Clockwork Jello Monster (jello because it's more american sounding than jelly), these creatures were originally peaceful until Evil Laser-nippled Flying Zombie Robo-Hitler gave them eyebrows so they would appear more menacing...)

next up in this ultimate freakshow is the Pitchforking Hump-backed Redneck Jive-Zombie

which brings us to main boss, the previously mentioned Evil Laser-nippled Flying Zombie Robo-Hitler (america helped us defeat hitler and for that i suppose we should give thanks which i suppose kind of ties in with the theme)
