personally speaking i think all the threads in the GenGen forum should be deleted with the possible exception of the Long Overdue Post Your Picture Here thread, which could be moved to the Popular Threads forum, or atleast gengen be renamed to the "i'm bored/too lazy to use a search engine/trolling/have no idea how to use a computer/crap nobody cares about/i'm leaving/i'm back/make my game for me" forum...

the only book i've read which is also a movie is The Silence of The Lambs, i read it before seeing the movie and i have to say, the book is much better.
i've read books which i thought would make good movies, such as The House That Jack Built and The Sleepless, both written by Graham Masterton, but the thing with a book is that it takes longer to read than it does to watch a movie (for me anyway, as i only usually read while taking a dump).
not many people would sit through a movie that long, so they have to miss out a lot of the story and just put key parts in, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

as the games themselves mention AGS i don't really see the problem, plus you'd get a flood of ubernoobs if they mentioned it in the magazine, and they'd all ask if you can make FPS and GTA games in AGS...

i don't really get nervous, but sometimes i have sudden anxiety packs and during them i get really hungry, they usually go after i've eaten like 4 slices of toast, beans, a few packets of crisps and a bowl of cereal.
not had one of those for a long time though.

the kind of people that are going to buy it are mostly people that like adventure games, we seem to care less about graphics if the game is good, anyone that knocks a good game because the graphics aren't superly hi-res is a turd.

better is down to personal preference.
technically speaking the Xbox is better than the PS2, yet the PS2 is more popular, it's all about choice, so it's stupid asking which is better because the sony fans will say the PSP, and the nintendo fans will say the DS, and people like me will tell you to make your own decision or get both.

it'd probably be possible to just create an anaglyph plugin for use with AGS then just create your backgrounds and characters normally.
hell there are probably programmes you can download that turn everything on your screen into an anaglyph

get DVDx, it's designed for converting DVDs to mpeg/avi but it can also load MPEG to be converted to other formats, you can find a link at http://doom9.net
