or, if you're handy with C you could try use either the doom, duke3d, quake or quake2 engine, or pay $100 for the Torque engine, there's also a free 3D engine called Eden3D, but as i have all the coding skill of a blind constipated cabbage farmer in the winter, i have no idea how to use any of these engines...

even though SkaleTracker is very similar to Fasttracker2 i just can't get used to it, it'd be nice to have an exact 1:1 win32 port of FT2 (or dos drivers for the Audigy 2ZS)

erm, how are you running DPaint IV? in an emulator or on an actual amiga?
as far as i no, there are no modern paint apps that can work with 256 or less colours properly, also in DPaint IV i think there are options windows you can turn on for gradient fills (oh how i miss the shape gradient fill)...

nice to see you kept it an XM and didn't do that scummy thing of converting it to mp3 :D
i started using FT2 in 1997, don't use it so much now though, no DOS drivers for my soundcard :(
the tune sounds very oldskoolish, it reminds me a bit of Dr. Awesome's "12th Warrior"...
perhaps if more people wanted to use MOD/S3M/XM/IT in AGS games it would convince Chris to use BASS or FMOD instead of the current playback routine :P
good work.

btw, don't suppose you ever used to hang around efnet #trax or #scene under a different name did you?

being as i own a 256mb 9800XT i would advise against buying this card unless you have a really good power supply, and i don't just mean a high wattage i mean a good make with good constant amps, otherwise the card will just keep crashing (i have a Antec 480w PSU and it only outputs 11.9v on the 12v rail) also, if you can, keep the card on a seperate power connector, avoid powering a hard drive and the graphics card off the same cable.
these cards also get very hot, so it's a good idea to invest in some extra cooling (either PCI slot fans to sit under the card or one of the specially made heatsinks or fan upgrades for the card you buy) otherwise the board will overheat and lower the lifespan of your card.
if you can afford it, it's probably worth upgrading your motherboard to one which supports PCI-Express and getting a PCI-E card such as the X800...

personally i'd buy a SoundBlaster Audigy Z2, they're not expensive and have support for up to 7.1 speakers, and with the Platinum version you get a facy 5.25" drive bay panel, or if you really don't want to spend a lot of money, try getting hold of a SoundBlaster 128, they're okay cards and dead cheap.
also, SBLive cards are good cards, most cards made by Creative Labs are, and if you want awesomeness, try get hold of an AWE32 or AWE64 Gold...

windows also has it's own built in magnifier under Programs/Accessories/Accessibility/ in the start menu, which i've always found handy for drawing pixel perfect regions in AGS

But I want to keep some reality.

when applied to something like a myth that's sort of an oxymoron, i think you'll get more information from your local library or a google search, but a library is probably best.

ah no wonder they all had blond hair then, but i didn't think sheep had large breasts...

this is more of a Paintover Phriday than Photoshop, now if you'd given us the first image and said "do something to this to make it look like something else" then used the second picture as an example, it would have been better...

i've never understood why people put their computer specs in their signature, and only ever people with good computers that do it...
also, chicken, it'd only be a shite processor if it had "Intel" in front of the name :P

well, it's really your own fault for letting your parents cut your hair when you didn't want it cut!
