It is kind of hard commenting on it, considering that it is so empty. Perhaps you could add some details to the head....camera lense and microphone?

This is a really small suggestion, I wasn't even sure about creating a whole topic for it, but thought why not?
When you have to select views for a character a box pops up asking the view number. I was wondering if it would be possible to bring up the views so that you can select them by clicking on them. Something like what happens when you want to add a new frame to a view- the sprite manager comes up and you can click on whichever sprite you want

Religious beliefs aside, you can't really make fun of what someone believes in - with (what you to believe to be) witty quotes, pictures and signing up as Jesus and telling everyone to go to hell - and then when they reply - some screaming in indignation, some trying to reason - you tell them to stay away from your freedom of speech and to accept their sense of humour as God would as well.
Whew... That was a long sentence.
I mean if someone posts telling you their mother is the greatest person alive, and you would all love her (something as wacky as how this thread started), and you started insulting her, involving sheep and making pictures etc, they wont like it. You can't exactly tell them that if their mother was so great, she wouldn't mind their humour.
The only reason I can think of such a vehement "funning" is religious insecurity. I mean, accept it that there are many religions out there that don't agree with your "I am an athiest, because it is the most logical thing to be" ideas, and they never will. As suggested, just agree to disagree.
I am not really advocating religious mania either. I am sure it is very annoying to have people push their beliefs on you, but just tell them that this is not the place to discuss such things. Lock the topic if need be. Making fun will just fuel there mania.

2. You may have trouble reaching God within you, but you can get there by forgiving everyone including yourself.

I forgive all of you. Really. I am big hearted enough to do that. I just hope you accept it was your fault

considering that the jacket would be partially overlapping the pants, I think you should make the jacket a pixel or two thicker in the side view

If people were writing in, for example, Urdu (random language that I STRONGLY doubt anyone here speaks) so that they could say things about other people without the people knowing, then we'd have a problem. But that doesn't happen. It just seems to me to be people sharing a language. Woo.
Randomly enough, I happen to speak urdu. Anyone else who speaks urdu? We could form a clan and insult people without them knowing ;D
If I did find someone here that spoke urdu, it would be such a novelty that I would maybe lapse into a few words of it. Not with any malicious intent. I don't really mind noobs posting at the beginning in their own languages. Some kind soul usually translates it, and the person stops posting in that language soon enough. If I am desperate enough to want to know what they mean, I usually just get a rought translation from google

It would look odd to have a hand drawn character in photorealistic backgrounds, unless you put A LOT of work into them (or make it photorealistically blurry ;) ).

bwahahaha....this is like a movie! Some idiot invents the incredible technology that he thinks will save humanity, but instead dooms it. One future thinking individual/group try warning everybody, but no one listens to them until it is too late. 10 years on you see the individual with his group hiding in some underground base, surfacing only to make sporadic attacks against the "machines". Go SHLAG! :P
I say just relax. Humanity is always changing and evolving/upgrading. The trend Darth mentioned is true, but the time saved is then used in other things. That is why we were able to develop so much. On the rare occasions of free time cave men would draw figures on their walls. Later on the art got more and more refined, until we got the beauties we hav today. None of it would be possible if the artist was using his time hunting in the jungle for food to eat. Along with art, science is also evolving, cures for diseases are being researched etc.
The idea that humanity should be something "pure" and unpolluted sounds like something Asimov would write about. So what if we have a chip here and there if it will help improve our lifestyle?
If you want to experience true humanity, you could always venture into the jungle with a lion cloth and a sharp stick :D

but..but... is this real? What next? Telepathic radioing without conversation? converting thoughts to file format? converting thoughts to pictures? "Thought" art? I mean, our ideas are the ultimate form of art...I think Douglas Adams called it something like "no sensory filtering". Not saying that it is that advanced yet, but wouldn't it be great if it was?

define the bodies a bit more. You know.. the hourglass figure. Also, the breasts at the moment seem a bit odd. The toll woman's breasts seem a bit high. The link Eric provided is a good reference for how all the curves go.
The Governers daughter's fringe seems to be part of the hair flowing behind her. Maybe you could define it a bit more, and round it a bit.

It is a BMP, but I only see 1 woman. Shorts and a Tshirt seem rather odd for a Caribbean game, unless it is set in the present.

Shouldn't the graphics be relatively average, so that if later on someone wishes to add more BGs or characters to the game, the difference won't stand out that much? This way a seperate BG artist should not really be necessary

Radiant, you are judging most of the verbs from the point of usage. For example the smell and tongue icons from SQ4 had no USE, but they were really funny, and added enjoyment to the game. I did like the idea of the Lure of the Temptress GUI, provided it can be recreated in a less cumbersome way than it was in the game. There should not really be the problem you mentioned Ghormak. Even important actions you would need to do would be broken down and placed into the list to appear just like any other. Of course, it would be great if there was an option to "slowly remove the petals and thorns and then eat the stalk, keeping the thorns and petals", just because it would be so funny.
I don't really think it is necessary to limit verbs. There is no need to limit them, even if they ARE used only once. In fact it would be a great point if there was a verb to be used only once, perhaps at the climax of the game.
Of course, if you want to limit verbs, a further limitation could be to have a "sense" icon. Clicking on it would tell you what you see, hear, feel, taste and smell all at once.

Since there is already a topic here about it, I hope you don't mind if I use it. How do you turn off anti-aliasing when scaling or rotating a selection? Whatever I do, the edges always are blurry.

If you're having trouble with your barnyard friends
You've got a thing for you
Been counting sheep
But your not in bed
Here's what you gotta do

Get off the barn
Stay off the Farm
Go read a nursery rhyme
Dialing 976 B-A-A

My friend, Larry, has a little lamb
Her fleece is as white as snow
He keeps bragging 'bout her night and day
Someone should tell him no
Look at the Flock, they're all in shock
Here comes that mutton fan
Knock at the fleece, give them some peace
Don't be a Barnyard Man, Noo
Dirty Deeds done with sheep
Dirty Deeds Little Boe Peep
Dirty Deeds and they're done with Sheep

This is a momentous occasion: My first thread in the Games in Production Forum.
Ok, I thought if people actually new about my game, that might help me actually complete it.
Villian's Conquest- Phagoff Island

Story Outline
You play as Tarmac, a shy, wannabe villian, who just wants a spiffy black cape. However, the "Black Hand" says that to join their group (and get their complementary spiffy black cape) you must be the ruler (de facto or legally) of an island. So now Tarmac must venture forth out of hiding and actually come in contact [shudder] with other people, and conquer Phagoff Island!
