Well I saw the second half live show of the live show on MTV yesterday (and intend to catch the first on a rerun), and enjoyed it.

The songs, even the older ones, really do not sound as good as they used to to. But, fuck me, it's still Metallica, and it's still Ulrich, and it's still One, and it's still Puppets, and it still sounds well. Very very well, in fact. My only two real points of criticism is that Hammet's lead guitar sounded much too high at times, and that Hetfield's vocal performance was way below average.

I've been in Port Aventura, the Universal Studios theme park near Barcelona last week (oops, forgot to tell you guys I was in Barcelona for 5 days last week) and there was a ride\show called "Templo del Fuego" (Temple of FIre) which was an Indiana Jones action show. What was cool was that it has real two actors who did stunts with fire and falling rocks and such stuff and it was really awesome.

I was in that park some years ago, but I don't remember that thing. Nevertheless, a great park it is.

So, how is Barcelona these days? How is the progress on La Segrada Familia going? Gosh, I love that city.

I only heard two singles, but I agree, they suck. Such a shame.

It's running late, as Cornjob decided to work on some other projects at the moment ("Run Hot", ever heard of it?  :-\). Well, it'll be there sooner or later.

listened to the soundclips on www.metallica.com, and the only thing that sounds bad to me is the sound of the drums.

That is quite a big thing, as we all remember how much Ulrich added to the earlier albums.

Well, that's just plain sad.

Me, I'll probably live through it, somehow. Although that does mean I'll be bored more often.

After hearing both St. Anger and Frantic, I am very disappointed. Can this be the first Metallica album I won't own?
