It seems like ages since I played the shareware version of [Rise Of The Triad]. Good memories.

Turns out it is the remake, which I am also happy about!

This is very nice of you, LF!

Can I have Hydrophobia, please? (And if you get to the point where you're happy to give people more than one game each, I'd love to get Rise Of The Triad too!)

Correct! When I said that was BS, I of course meant Barbara Stanwyck!

What, no one recognises the actress there? Come on, that's BS!

Okay, here's another, if you can't get it from this then I may have to post the title card:

Danvazare: no, this film came out 2 years earlier...

Here's another shot:

Those clues should seal it!

Incidentally, I chose these shots because the first one is subtly homaged in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, when Jessica peeks out of a car window in the same way, and the second one is from a scene repurposed in Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid.

Ah! It's Gilda!

EDIT: I'm definitely right, so here's what I think is a pretty easy one:

Also, it's Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, not Far Cry 3...

AHEM I was also correct.

And so is Gurok, my pic was the scene where Sam goes into virtual reality. Your go, Gurok!

It seems to have been called The Deep and Ocean Descent at various points. As I got there first and Amayirot has given up his turn, I'll not worry about the technicalities and take the go!

The orange background sky and the blue indoor lights shouldn't work together in theory but they do! ???

Immediately back on-topic: this looks great, I really like that font, and it's immediately better than the Constantine show because the trenchcoats in Ben's art actually look like they've seen a bit of use.

Interview With The Vampire!

"...and finally, my long lost blue."

I always find that scene so touching: Louis goes to the movies because it's the only way he can ever see the sun and the daytime sky.

Dammit, I actually typed this guess out, down to the description of the scene, and then changed my mind!

Yeah, I was very surprised to read the original short story having seen the film!

(Also, for what it's worth, I agree with Mandle on the obscure films thing. Getting recommendations is great, but having the thread grind to a halt until someone manages to hit on the right search terms not so much. I think it's at least a good idea to start throwing out the giveaway shots and some other clues as soon as it's clear no one knows it.)

The correct answer was "HARVEST MOON!!!", so Mandle got it spot on.
