Okay, Darth. I need a question answered...

So Annie is 9 years old in Ep. 1 when he leaves his mother. Now there's about 10 years between Episode 1 and 2. During this time, Shmi Skywalker gets sold by Watto to Lars, who she marries.

Now in Ep. 2, when Owen and Anakin meet, one of them says "So, you're my half-brother" or something like that. One would assume then, from that line, that Owen is the son of Lars and Shmi, right? That would make Owen Luke's Uncle.

So how can Owen look so old? He can't be more than 10 years old, but in Episode 2, he looks at least 17. I keep just thinking that perhaps Lars had another wife who bore Owen, but then what happened to her?

For the sake of continuity, did it explain how Boba Fett and the clones shed their kiwi accents?

Yeah. George Lucas explained that when he did the 2004 Special Editions of the original trilogy. The actor who played Jango Fett redid Boba Fett's lines (Or is it only one line?) from the original trilogy.

And by Episode 4, I'm pretty sure there's other people in the Stormtroopers, not just clones. Darth, can you back me up here?

Okay, so I just watched Episode 1 and 2 again in preparation for going to see Episode 3 a second time. And I must say... Yoda is awesome in the prequels, but he has some awful lines.

From Ep 2: "Around the survivors, a perimeter make."

Seriously, I'm suprised the Clone Troopers even understood that command. I remember when I was little watching Empire and Jedi, I always figured that Yoda spoke bad just because he was incredibly old. It may be my mind playing tricks on me, but doesn't his sentance formation get worse between Empire and Jedi?

So WHY is he saying things like "Around the survivors, a perimeter make."?! Gah.

Professional Jazz musician here... Which is a fancy term for "Unemployed", as the pay is so terrible, you'd be better off unemployed. Still, it's something I love. Aaand, I'm still only 17 (Nearly 18), so it's not like I need a great job yet anyway.

The file type at the end is bmp. So add that if you want to see the pictures. Anyway, what are we exactly critiquing here? This are just screen captures from A New Hope with some text on them that looks like it was added in MS Paint. Some of the pictures have even been scaled wrong.

Perhaps when you've done some actual work on the game, we can help you.

I definitely agree with all the movies on this list so far... But why has no one mentioned the first two live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movies (Hero Turtle in the UK)? Those were cheesy, and definitely, at least for me, have that same effect as all the other movies in this topic.

Oh, and here's a bit of a stretch, but the movie Innerspace. It has the "80s adventure" feel, and I always used to love to watch it as a kid (Though most of the jokes and some of the plot went right over my head).

I saw it opening day, midnight, the whole shebang. And I loved it. Sure there were a few things wrong, but in my opinion, it was way better than the other two prequels (And I love Episode I!).

Funniest Moment:

Spoiler
Right before Obi-Wan and Padme leave for the lava planet, there's a quick shot of Obi-Wan sitting down in this small stall thingie, then closing the door with the Force. Is it just me, or did it look like Obi-Wan was entering a startship bathroom (Think Airplane Bathrooms)? I laughed so hard when I thought this.

QuoteFor favourite puzzles, Simon the Sorcerer 3D had a truly diabolical puzzle right at the end. There's a computer you have to insert a CD into, but there seems to be absolutely no way of getting the CD drive open in the game. The game was programmed so it would recognize when you opened the CD drive containing the game CD-ROM and the CD drive in the game would open!

Reminds me of X-Men for the Sega Genesis (Mega-Drive), where you had to actual reset the system near the end of the game to continue.

As long as I stay away from Summer camps by lakes, I think I'll be fine.

<Goes and plays Psychonauts>

Hahaha, I don't drink OR do drugs. I can critisize people's substance abuse guilt free! DRUGS ARE BAD!

Well, I've been wanting to braoden my game scoring abilities... PM me with some details if you need some music. If you want a sample of my stuff, just play "Two of a Kind".

Well, my quick two-cents. One of my friend's cousins came to visit last summer, and the two of us hit it off, though we were much to shy to admit it. After she left, we really started talking about our feelings for each other online. We got to the point where we were in love with each other.

Currently, we're still very much in love. She just came to visit last month (The first time I had seen her since last summer), and I'm going to visit her in July. Eventually next year, we'll be moving in together, and starting what'll hopefully be a wonderful life together.

So, I don't know. Sometimes the whole internet relationship thing works, sometimes it doesn't. I personally would be creeped out having an intimate relationship with someone I hadn't met in real life before, but that's just me.

Okay, last week I got tickets to see a sneak peek of Mindhunters, a film so incredibly bad that it sat on the shelf for about two years, and is finally being realised this Friday, I do believe.

It's got Christian Slater, Val Kilmer and LL Cool J in it, and is directed by the guy who directed "Deep Blue Sea" (Another delictably bad film). I definitely reccomend it to anyone who loves bad movies. This film has so many laugh out loud scenes in it, that the whole theatre was in tears by the end.

Speaking of the end, there's a fight scene near the end that is, in my honest opinion, the most enjoyable fight scene in any movie ever made. No joke. It is that good.

I suggest anyone who has money to spare, to see it. Or better yet, hope it comes to a cheap cinema in your town. I know there's a cinema here that plays movies JUST out of the theatres for $2.50, and I personally hope this movie comes to it so I can see it again.

Okay, I'm done.

Its a shame that it probably won't sell that well... :'(

That's why I've urged everyone who I know who plays video games to buy Psychonauts. I've already sold two people, and I know of a third who's going to buy the PS2 port. It seriously is, in my opinion, the best game that's come out this year, and I hope that it sells as well as it should.

Also, if you're parodying something, the laws change completely. There's a bunch of laws that allow parodies to be sold, though I wouldn't be able to give any more information on it.

Two of a Kind was created almost exclusively through the use of the AGS Forums Private Message system, though a bit of discussion took place on anothe board, and on IRC. It helps to have a really good message board though, as that's what we're using for Bestowers of Eternity, and it seems to be working out quite well.

The only person I've seen acting like a 12-year-old in this topic is you, Closet-Monster. Besides [...]'s reply (Which was completely acceptable, in my opinion, considering you did post this topic first in the GiP forum), everyone else has replied with quite a bit of maturity.

And no, you don't have to stoop down to people's level when they act like 12-year-old's. In fact, the only person stooping down a level in here is you.
#118
Yeah, thanks to everyone! It was a real blast, and even though the timing wasn't too convenient for me (Even though it was in the afternoon), I was able to stay for the whole thing. Good show Pesty and AGA, and I hope to see you all next year (Maybe at an earlier date, haha).

Of all of Sierra's adventures, Freddy Pharkas is one I wouldn't call childish, I mean...

Spoiler
Isn't there a puzzle near the end where you bleed to death if you don't use a bandana/cloth thing on your other ear after it's been shot off?

DAMN! The one weekend my girlfriend comes to visit is the weekend of the AGS Awards Ceremony...

Hahaha, oh well. Guess I'll miss it this year. Hope I don't win anything, hehe.
