The sprite looks like it's a traceover of a Megaman sprite. It also looks like it needs alot more shading.

QuoteAlso, Miles Davis - So What.

On the Kind of Blue album, which I already reccomended, hehe.

If you can find it (It's extremeley rare), get a copy of Frank Sinatra - Live at the Sands. That album is extremely good. I mean, Frank Sinatra singing his best songs, with the Count Basie Orchestra backing him. We played about half that album not for note in our Jazz Band last year at school.

Man... I love the special effects of Terminator 1, ESPECIALLY the factory scene at the end. The mixture of animatronic and stop motion effects is brilliant. Ahhh, good old Stan Winston.

I remember seeing Terminator 2 in the theaters (Though I was quite young at the time), and just thinking the special effects were amazing. They still are.

...Isn't Link an elf though?

Yeah, I can see how not having a dedicated team crushed almost all entries into the contest. I mean, we (Team 6) just BARELY got our game in, but we had to work on it non-stop for about three days, actually working through ther night on Friday, to hand it in.

At least it isn't as bad as Swordfish... that movie was TERRIBLE. I mean, to make sure the guy is a good hacker, they make him hack some system in 60 seconds, in front of them, while he's getting an oral service from some chick underneath the table.

...The hell?

My list was just an example... Like I said, there's TONS of  styles of Jazz music, the biggies (In chronological order, I do believe) are listed below.

Ragtime, Dixieland, Swing, Bop, Bebop, Cool, Hard Bop, Post Bop, Fusion, Free

Correct me if I'm wrong, it's been a while since my Jazz Theory class...

Yeah, go Jazz! As an avid Jazz listener, and a professional Jazz musician (I get paid for playing Jazz gigs, I think that qualifies me), you've come to the right place, hehehe.

You're thinking of taking up Saxophone? Okay, you need to find some recordings by a man named John Coltrane. His work is amazing. Also check out Charlie Parker.

You're right about different styles of Jazz. There's tons, including:

Bop
Blues
Post-Bop
Swing
Fusion

It's all good, in my opinion, and is perfect music to relax to. I suggest, to start you off, you pick up "Kind of Blue" by Miles Davis. That album is hailed as one of the best Jazz albums of all time, and I have to agree. In fact, my Jazz Quartet, The Freeloaders, got our name from a song on that album.

Yes, please read the FORUM RULES before posting. Thank you.

Also, if you look closely, you'll see what appears to be the Rage Against the Machine DVD on top of AGA's computer. Apparently, he listens to Rage while "looking" at the camel porn.

Yeah Vel, that's a great idea. During our mad scramble to finish the game, we had to leave out the opening (Even though we drew all the pictures for it, we just didn't have time to code it).

That'd be awesome.

Sweet. That means we have a few hours on Saturday to finish our ga- I mean... Add extra content...

Speaking of Adventuring someone's brain, I can't stop "Solving" puzzles anymore. Like, my bbrother will walk into my room, and I'll be building a contraption out of two or three random items, to do something that a paperclip or a peice of tape could accomplish just as easily.

Well... Mine's an animation from my game (Though the Animated GIF Program screwed it up... Grrrrr)... A game that maybe I'll have time to finish once this damn AGS Challenge is over...

Only until Satuday BT... It ends Saturday...

QuoteWhat's with all us girls having very non-girly avatars?

And us men having GIRLY avatars...? <Points to his own, and then directly above him to Eric's>

Try sticking M0ds'  face on the girl to the left of Indy... Now THERE'S a resembelence!

Or for that matter, stick m0ds' face on a baboon's arse. Damn. It's spooky how similar they are!!

(No offense, m0ds'!!)

SuperCarrot... for some reason your sprite reminds me of the Fruit Fuc-... Err... the Fruit "Friend" from Penny Arcade.

I bought a mint condition Colonel's Bequest, complete with Notepad, Pencil, Copy Protection (And the red screen "Magnifying Glass" to read it), and both booklets for one cool, sweet dollar.

Awesome game.

When I think of adventure games, I think first of all the old sierra games, because that's what I grew up on. The VGA ones (SCI04) all had pretty realistic graphics, in comparison to alot of the later Lucasarts game, so I actually remember, in my mind, that there's more realistic adventure games than carttony ones.

I don't knowhow to help you Eric, but that DEFINATLEY looks like a 3d version of 6DA if I've ever seen one  ;)
