Hmmm, an Ancient Super Nintento game you say??????? (Note the extreme question mark usage)

Well I guess the SNES could be considered anciect. I mean, it couldn't even do 3d (Except for Mode7)! Oh well. I've spent enough time writing this post. I'm off to play more Counter-Strike!

It seems to robotic. Chances are if a gun is firing, due to the sudden explosion of the gunpowder the gun would recoil (Spring backwards). This gun has no movement whatsoever, as if the bullets are magically flying out of it. Yet there is an explosion from the front of the gun, so it looks... Well... Wrong.

The eyes and general shape of the head remind me alot of Hergé's work (Creator of Tintin)! I like!

I looooooooooove the second one most out of all. He looks so... Ready for action. Like Rockman or something.

Umm... My DVD collection is over 1,000.

So the answer to your question is NO. I can't post my DVD collection.

Luftpause is eaxtly that. It's an air pause. It's actually a term in music (Mostly classical). It's when the whole band stops, and there's silence for a second or two, and then the conductor tells the band when to start again.

It's commonly used right before the last note/chord of a peice. You know, just as the thing build up and it's all dissonant and stuff. Then everything stops. Then BAM, the last chord.

Hmmm... I'm thinking of an idea, don't know if I'll have time to enter... But here's my ploy synopsis so far...

The game's name would be Disfunctional Harmony. It would be about an orchestra that is about to put on a show in a large concert hall and brodcasted live on TV. Suddenly, an evil terrorist rock band hijacks the concert hall, so they can play a show on live TV a get a record contract. Now, the only one who can stop them is...

Luftpause! The maestro/superhero!

You would play as Luftpause as he infiltrates the concert hall and saves the day!

Do you think I should try to work on this game?

Zor... The shading doesn't really, well, look like shading. It just looks darker. I actually prefer the original over this one. What I meant, is only darken the leg farthest away from us so it's easy to distinguish between the two legs. Strazer's edit shows this perectly.

Well, it looks like I'll be sticking with the current version of AGS for a long time to come. Not only do I not have $100 dollars (US, I persume. I'm Canadian, so that price is outrageous, in my opinon), I would never be able to buy it since I'm only 16.

I personally think this is an incredibly stupid idea, though I do respect you, CJ, for keeping this version of AGS free, and continuing to support AGS. It's a shame alot of people will not be able to enjoy the newest versions of this great product  :-\

For music, you're going to need lots of arabian-type music. I don't know if you know anything about music, but if you have a composer, he should so alot of things in harmonic-minor keys, as they are very desert/arabic sounding.

Wow. This artwork is amazing! I truly hope that a all this doesn't go to waste, I'd love to see a game. The characters look like they have so much personality alreayd, I can't wait to see what happens with them!

And am I the only one who sees those sprites talking like Lucas Arts characters. The way they're drawn, they look perfect for the telltale bob.

I have over 20 NES carts, left from my original collection, and used purchases.

My favorites include: BattleToads, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (The Taito one), Gold Cartridge Zelda Games, and Rescue: The Embassy Mission.

A good place to look is pawn shops and garage sales. They're not to hard to come by here, and eBay usually has whatever you want SUPER CHEAP (Less than $10.00 US for almost any NES game you'd want).

Farsight... A few words of advice...

It's best to give a little more detail when you ask for help. If a random person came up to you on the street, and asked you for help making graphics for a game, would you help him?

Probably not. Maybe if you could give us some idea of the game in question, perhaps a plot outline even, people will be more willing to help you.

Another thing you can do, is make a demo game quickly, to show you can complete something and get down to work. It doesn't have to have the greatest graphics, it can even use Instagame graphics or RON graphics (Search the boards for links, not that hard to find).

It's just, out of the blue like this, with nothing but a few smilies, not many people will pay attention to your post, let alone offer their services.

Man... Why was that SOOOO AWESOME?

I love the use of the RM2k RTP, I used to use that program alot back in the day.

Great humour, excellent backgrounds that look like the RTP in 3d, nice little animations, very cool credits sequence.

Defintaley the most promising demo I've played this year, keep it up!
