Here we go. Our team decided to allow a bit of what we've been working on trickle through to everyone, and hopefully gain a bit more interest in the game.

Therefore, I present to you, the new town of Spielburg... Well, one half of it.



Note: The Sierra original is on top, our new one is the bottom. Also, the colours a dithered in a few place due to the conversion, This is not the case in the actual game.

Yes, the song is legal as long as who ever gets it doesn't post it on the Internet.

Translation: "If you're not mass distibuting the song, it's still illegal. But it's only illegal if you get caught!"

My favorite has been, and always shall be, the NERF Crotch Bat. that was brilliant. Chris Farely runs around hitting people in the crotch with a NERF bat designed specifically for that purpose.

And out of the newer sketches, there was one chapter of the guy's big long book, in which he fought a lion while swimming in a river, then died. It was pure brilliance.

It'd be like that episode of Futurama where you can download celebrities, almost... except imagine, instead of Lucy Lu, Harrison Ford.

I'm just waiting for prerendered graphics to be photo-realistic, so I can finally
"film" Indiana Jones and the Monkey King.

That looks alot more like a warewolf. Good job, I really like that sprite!

Yes, the indy tie is definatley too high resolution for the indy sprite itself.

There's no way that Chris wrote that. I can't believe he'd write anything SOOO STUPID. Though it's still brilliant.

Morgan, that sounds hilarious, the warewolf idea. Your sprite looks excellent, and it would be a scream, just maybe change it so the wolf has red eyes, and some fangs. This should set it apart from a dog. Maybe some really rough whiskers too.

This is going to rock... SO HARD...

Just thought I'd try to gain some more interest in a project I'm working on with an excellent team... Quest for Infamy: So you want to be a Villian?

Here's some sprites I've completed for the intro, though some of them are not done yet. I've really been trying to capture the feel of the old Sierra games, especially Quest for Glory 1 VGA, as Quest for Infamy is a spinoff of it. What do you think?

All the sprites, with the exception of Lurg, are done in the positions they are in idly in the opening. So sprites facing away from you ARE supposed to be like that

All the emulators currently out for GBA, minus a few (Like the AGI one).

I like the image so far, but the hotel looks so... Bland. I would think that hotel's would have their name and logo in big letters on them, or on a sign right by the door.

The Quest for Infamy team is looking for a background artist/dialog picture artist, with talent creating Sierra style backgrounds. Much work on this game has already been done, and the team (Especially me, who has spent many, MANY hours working on sprites) assure that the game is serious and will be completed.

The thing that entertained me watching the Golden Globes was Sting. He just looked so, generally displeased to be there. Especially after the person who did the score for the LOTR movies won. As he walked to the stage, he went to give Peter Jackson a hug. As Peter go up, the camera cut to Sting, whispering something in the person beside him's ear. My brother and I laughed for hours on what he might be whispering.

He looked pretty miffed when he didn't win too  

I learned from my brother, who used to work at a video store. He was putting movies away in that section one day, and well, he almost died laughing at the movie. I checked on the internet to see the cover, and was bombarded by three... And a "Best-of", with the best parts of all three movies!

...Only in the pornography industry...

Pirate Jack, the funny thing is that that movie actually exists. Well, just titled "Edward Penishands", but yeah. I investigated the subject further, and apparently there's THREE of them. Wow.

I'm working on my piece right now (No, I'm serious, cakewalk is minimized!). I can't wait to get it finished, and if I can achieve all I've invisioned, it's going to be sweet.

Which reminds me... Can we have more than two bars in a different time signature? For example, my song starts in 4/4 time, but I want it to switch to 3/4 time later. Could I do this?
