Pretty good!

...Is it against the rules to use a background from the game you're making?

If not... This one is only 40 colours, and is 320 x 200.

I got it, using your help, and also figuring alot out on my own... Now, onward with my game!

I know you guys probably get asked this ALOT, but how do I customize the inventory menu? Is there any specific way? Specifically, I'd like to change the look of it (More to the look of my main GUI) and add an interact (HAND) button in there.

Thanks in advance!

I did notice the chest area, but in my opinion, her butt is too big on your version.

I change the actual sprite to have a chest much like your versions.

Wow... I didn't know I'd get this much feedback on just one sprite! I should do this more often ^_-

Oh no! Too many suggestions!

Mr. Colossal: I like your idea... <Changes his sprite again>

OneThinkingGal: I like the pillow shading... But I like your version's hair too... Can't decide...

Okay... I lied. Here's the first track from the game, which plays during the witch burning scene (So for greatest effect, look at the witch burning screenshot while you listen).

Oh and Snake, this one's for you, heh.

Dave: Excellent game! The plot has got me very intrigued for the next part, which will hopefully not take too long *GLARES*.

Kidding. But seriously, the graphics were really impressive, along with the music, which fit the mood perfectly. Unfortunatley on my computer (Don't know if this is for all), the music liked the get... What's the word to describe this... Distorted as it got loud/high. This made for a unpleasant experience as I reached to turn the volume down.

Other than that, the game was perfect! I can't wait for Part 2!

P.S., the dog barking in the park scared my cat, nice sound effects, hehe.

Due to me getting off my fat-ass and learning how to script, the game is running even better than ever, with Skippable Cutscenes (Well, the one cutscene done is skippable), yay!

Also, I've begun work on music... Within the next few days, I'll have a track up for consumption and critique.

Thanks for the kind words everyone, it's fueled my motivation big time!

Steve McCrea: That's perfect! The chin looks amazing (One of the main things I didn't like about mine), do you mind if I use this version in my game (With maybe a few touches here or there)? Of course, credit will be issued ^_-

Evil: I can see how doing a front view first would help with doing the side view... I'll keep that in mind for my next character.

A female character for my game, The Tablet of Altheria. This is what I've got so far, but she just... doesn't look right. Any suggestions? They would be most appriciated!!

(Sorry for the double post!)

Re-edited the first post with a new screenshot and more information.

Vel: There's actually more information in the Games in Production forum:

But anyway, back on topic...

Fov, any word on when the first part of Frank will be released?
#678
Looks really good! The character and background graphics look really neat together, and I like the overall presentaion. Here's hoping the first part comes out real soon!
#679
In the opening of my game, there's a scene in which alot of dialog is printed. Unfortunatley, the speed might be too fast for some readers. Is there anyway I could slow down the rate at which the text is displayed?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks Kaaz! I'll work on it some more soon.

I forgot to mention, that the image *WILL* be darker in the actual game, this is just to show you what has been done before I darken it.
