Yeah, I absolutely love this!!  I love the AGI graphics in this game.  Hell, I'd love to do an "AGI" demake of LSL2 like this game.  And fix some of the problems with that game! Hahah... so many fun game related things I'd love to do, and too little time

Anyway, Arj0n, this looks awesome! I definitely want to play this.

Quest for Infamy has about 250+ rooms - and according to "How Long to Beat" says about 18.5 hours - but with further exploration and discovery, it can take you between 30-50 hours.  It's about 1.6 GB, but much of that is the music and full audio.

However, what's fun is teasing some elements that I have turning up in QFI 2's story.

I had mostly mild cussing in Quest For Infamy.  Tried to limit the use of F-Bombs, just to give them more power.  Many we self-censored as a joke, but a few slipped through and the text says CENSORED while the narrator actually says "FUCKING" instead of us bleeping it out!  Ut oh!

Make the game for the audience you want to play it.

I was 12. Got Space Quest III for my birthday.  Picked up sharp piece of metal, and Roger Wilco became a blood fountain.

It was like discovering the holy grail.  Every time I make a game, I try to make an homage to that beautiful blood geyser.

I lurk the shit out of this.

I still firmly believe this is some kind of award winning performance art.

I can play most of my AGS games on my Android.  We're working on a version of QFI for tablet too, currently.

Color me impressed!  That's great!

Yeah.  I love AGS, and I love that people keep working on it to improve and bring it's compatibility to new platforms. There's lots of talented people working on the engine all the time.  We're lucky.

I just want to add that I'm really excited to be working on these games; especially in The King's Challenge - Finn uses his Lute, and you as they player, get to play it to cast spells and solve puzzles.  Anything musical in the design is fun for me - but I have been asked this question before, "If I don't play with sound, can I still play?" and the answer is "yes". So it'll work for anyone who wants to play it, with or without sound.

Oh, I guess I wasn't supposed to say "Holy Balls!" in surprise when we won that one time.  I was honestly shocked.  Hah. Mea culpa.

Snarky, that AGS client was above and beyond, and a ton of fun! The whole affair was awesome.  I'm really surprised by the wins Quest For Infamy got, and it was just amazing how many great AGS games were made in 2014. Everyone who was nominated just had phenomenal work; to even be considered part of that pantheon is amazing, so winning anything is truly an honor. You're all so talented and creative, and being a part of this community is a real treat.  I'm constantly amazed by the quality of games people are creating - from the traditional adventure games, to the crazy things people do with AGS, like Beer! and Red Hot Racing... when I was a kid, hacking away on an old Apple ][+ when I was a kid, I don't think I could have imagined that something like this would exist, and that I would still be doing the stuff I loved almost 30 years later.

Thanks again for everything, everyone. I hope everyone keeps on producing, creating and dreaming up amazing games.

Making a game and releasing it is a difficult feat in and of itself! Kudos to you guys for starting a game, and seeing it through! The follow through is the toughest.  There's always going to be bugs and polish you want to put on it, and you just may over time! I've done that with plenty of my games.  I just want to say "Nice Work!"

Hey guys!

Just to let you know, Quest For Infamy is in the Be Mine bundle on Groupees now!  There's a bunch of cool games in there, including 1954 Alcatraz, by Gene Mocsy, who is an excellent dude.

It's your chance to pick up some great games for a great price.

I haven't had QFI crash on Android yet - but I haven't finished it yet.  I know others have, though.
