As far as dialogue scripting goes, it'd be nice to tie "DisplayTopBar" to characters.  Often with NPCs without a portrait in Sierra Style Games, I use this.

Monkey,

Yeah - I've tested it on Android; I haven't encountered any problems so far.

Yeah - the GoG and Humble versions of QFI will run on Android fine because the steam.api stuff was stripped out of those versions; that's how I did it for now.

A favorite of mine is Cirque de Zale! That was one great game.

There's been so many over the years... this thread reminded me of a lot I hadn't played in sometime, and made me think back a decade or so over the time I've spent playing AGS games.  There's been quite a few, when I think about it, that I've enjoyed very much.

I've found QFI works the best with unthreaded audio. It seems to hang on me when that's on.

Iceberg - you've got QFI running on Android?  Shoot me a PM about that sometime, would ya?

Hey, thanks guys!! I hope you enjoy it, and thanks for the support.

Mac version is forthcoming - just working out a few kinks.

Scaling is affected by winsetup - it's setup for Direct3D, as that is most compatible with computers.  You can use winsetup to select DirectDraw, which tends to look better with scaling, but can be unpredictable and not work on many computers.

Quest For Infamy is now available at Steam, GoG, Desura and Humble!

Inspired by classic Sierra and LucasArts games we all love, Quest For Infamy is a Role Playing Adventure Game set in the Valley of Krasna, an idyllic place... or so it would seem!  Over 200 backgrounds, and more NPCs than I care to admit... it's a giant sized adventure!

Check it out sometime, eh?

Hey folks! Well, QFI comes out July 10th! 3 days!  It's been a hell of an experience making this game, and I'm proud that we did it in AGS.

It'll be on sale at GoG, Humble, Desura and Steam - so ends this road for now!

We also made Time.com's list of 20 Best Games of Summer! (I can't believe it either - we're on a list with like, The Sims, The Last of Us and Madden Football)

To everyone who supported and checked in with the project - thank you so very much! So many people here were so helpful to me and some of my team members during production, and we couldn't have done it without their support.

Yeah, we delayed two weeks so we didn't launch RIGHT in the middle of the summer sale season on GoG and Steam.  Gives us two extra weeks to make sure all the "t's" are crossed and we've dotted the.... lowercase "j's".

Probably should have let them announce that.

Anyway...

Blackthorn, the screenshots (first post) are missing... please update them ASAP!

Oops!  Sorry, the location of the screenshots must have been moved - should be all up to snuff now.

My congrats to Dave, Janet, Ben and the whole crew... it's been a journey with these games.  I mean, I know I can trace my own life back through this series, and it's been amazing.  It's a beautiful, amazing, wonderful and engaging game - and I can't wait to beat it! I've only managed to get in a half hour here, half hour there, but I love it - and it's certainly inspiring as a fellow game maker.

Actually, it's a great reminder of where AGS (both games and the community) have been and where they are now and where they'll go in the future.  Some of us have been here for a good chunk of our adult lives, and there is a certain kind of magic, and warm memories attached to games like this.  Well, sappy blabbering done for now.  Can't wait to see what the future brings for you at WadjetEye.

Congratulations on the game and your release! I just purchased my copy, and will probably be getting to it soon... my games queue is large, but my time to play them is so limited these days! Haha!  Anyway, I'm always, always glad to see fellow AGSers making high quality games and taking the leap and risk to selling them!  Looking forward to it.

Hey! Awesome Podcast! I had a blast meeting you, and yeah - heh - it was a fun way to meet.  And playing "Backdoor Man" with you and Edmundo was seriously a highlight of the whole shindig.  I am really stoked for A Golden Wake, and I can't wait to throw thousands of bitcoins your way for it! Heh.

You did a really great wrap up for GDC, and listening to it, I got filled in on the stuff I missed.  Anyway, I'm still recovering from my week, but I can definitely say it was great to meet and share AGS war-stories with you.
