Messages - Blackthorne

Yeah - listen to whatever music you wish.  Hell, if you like songs that are simply heavy on BASS and devoid of melody, so be it.  Just don't listen to it at volumes that would wake Tupac Shakur from his grave as he shouts "Turn off the racket, yo!"

Okay, fine "Dogs" by Pink Floyd.

IN FACT, the entire "Animals" album.

Yeah, that would be fun.  There's a lot of diversity in musical taste amongst AGS musicians, too, but it's nice to hear what other people are doing.  I've posted some of my tracks before - and people generally liked them.

I'd love to hear what other people are doing.

This site is perfectly designed.  No extraneous or stupid cluttered stuff, and it loads in an instant.

I hate:

   Pop up banners
MIDI that plays in the background
   Movies that automatically load
   Excessive graphics

Just some peeves.

Well I wasn't sure how much you missed.

Gosh, am I an asshole or what?

It's only 'cause you have no avatar.

I enjoyed Minority Report.  Interesting concepts.  What freaked me out the most was the "prison" they put the pre-crime offenders in.

Click here to read the Shooting Script of MINORITY REPORT

The script will give great insight into the themes in the film.  It also includes some deleted scenes.

I love all the "justification" for ROMS and emulators.

It's illegal, period.

Embrace your inner pirate.

Thanks for editing it into spoiler tags.

And, blackthorne? SSH did it for a joke, Thomas went on its high spirits. Both rectified it when it was complained upon. You have no excuse. Not that I give a thimble about Harry Potter, mind you, but other people mind.

Rui,

The book hasn't come out yet; it was a joke on speculation.  I don't know if Dumbledore dies or not...  I was making fun of spoilers.   I'm not in any kind of qualified position to give "Half-Blood Prince" spoilers - no one is, yet.

This movie was better than anything Burton or Shumacher did.

Seriously.

Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince:  Dumbledore dies.

Yeah, I gotta say, the "dark, brooding, gothic" human super-hero thing is done to death.  In fact, it's boring.

Ooh, Batman has...mental issues?   Duh.
I mean, it does sort of have a pretentious nature to it.  However, I DO think the dark nature fits Batman better than others.  Comic superheros used to be fun - now they're all dark and brooding.

I just saw it, and I have to say that it is nowhere near the masterpiece that "Batman and Robin" was.  I, for one, miss the nipples on the bat-suit.

Besides, everyone knows Alan Moore and Frank Miller suck.   I mean, I threw out my signed copies of "Killing Joke" and "The Dark Knight Returns" years ago.  After I used them for toilet paper in the Blizzard of '93.

Christian Bale should stick to fun films like "Newsies" and "American Psycho".  Christopher Nolan should stick to making out-of-sequence films.  Katie Holmes should break up with Tom Cruise.

In short, I should have gone to see "The Pefect Man" with Hillary Duff.  That girl can act.

I gotta finish building my ultimate MAME machine.... I have a computer, a Hanaho Hotrod Control Panel, two PS1 clone USB joysticks, a dedicated computer for running soley emulators.... I just need to get a monitor, strip the old "Carnival" cabinet I have, repaint and sand it - mount the Hotrod, and PRESTO - game machine that plays everything.

I love my original machines, but this one will be so convienent.  Any game I want, on one machine.

Buy the Panasonic DVX-100A.  It kicks so much ass.

Sorry I couldn't offer any better advice, man.

NES for River City Ransom.

All other elements pale in comparison.

I'm gonna have to agree on that one.  I still play that on my NES I have hooked up downstairs.

I wish they'd have made a port of it to the SNES.  I heard there was a never released sequel.

Legend of the Mystical Ninja is awesome!!!!!!

I love that damn game!

It's a shame none of the other Ganbare Goemon games were ported to English..... I have all of them, in ROM form, but hell if I can read Japanese.

I think Chrono Trigger may just be the best video game EVER made.  I remember when I got it - right when it was released.  I was 17.  I spent a lot of time getting the multiple endings.  I play it at least two or three times a year, on ZSNES, now - all the way through.  I love that game..... I wish Chrono Cross lived up to it.  Sigh.
