Did you hear the solo at 6:37!? That is erection worthy.

Wow.Ã,  Thanks, that's quite a compliment, really.Ã,  I would upload some higher bitrate versions, but I didn't think anyone would want them... heh.Ã,  Thanks, too LGM.Ã,

Bushead had subtitles for each section, too.  It was kind of a bunch of things I wove together.

I. Bus Head
II. Sunset Mountain (3:05)
III.  Three Flamingos  (5:44)
IV. Munchkin Rock    (6:28)
V. Dark Hollow       (7:37)
VI. Glisten             (8:22)
VII. The Return    (9:28)

And during the return I held that note out a lot longer than ended up on the track - I always liked singing that part.

Hopefully, soon, I'll get working on a new album.Ã,  I just like to play guitar.

But, till then, because you guys have been really cool, and I like sharing my music, here's two more tunes I wrote - I did these with my band, called Hillaire.

Humpback Camel - a little ditty I wrote with a hard rock/funk edge, and stupid half-sung lyrics.

It's My Brain - a crazy instrumental that I wrote with my Keyboardist, Kyle.  Kyle wrote the intro theme (On the Organ) and the end theme; I wrote the middle parts.

Hmmmmm... hummmmmm.... HMMMMMMM...

Okay, I guess you're right. At first glance that statement could easily be misinterpreted.

It's often hard to write something positive about your own endeavours and such, without sounding pretentious or pompous.  I know that you guys are proud of what you've accomplished, and rightly so - and those always in the highest of positions have not only the farthest to fall, but also the most taking pot-shots at them.

Don't worry; having conversed with many members of AGDI privately, I can say collectively that they are a bunch of people who just like adventure games, and are trying their best - and a commercial movment is no easy task.

Good luck guys!

Well, thank you so much!

It was recorded on a little Clarion Analog 4-Track, at a friends. In 1999... I was just putting some ideas on tape.  It was, take 5, after a couple of mis-starts... heh.  The guy who said 'thousand' was the drummer and producer; he's a Spaceballs Fan.

These are just demo's, really - but soon I'm going to be recording a new album, and hopefully I'll put Devotion on there.  I kind of like that one.

These tunes are all from the same time, but not as well finished.

Relivication.  Gotta love a song where you make up a word for the title and chorus.... oh well.

This one is called Bus-Head.  After a friend who had a large head - hence Bus Head.  It's a rather long song with lots of instrumentation - it's about ten minutes long, so if you like shorter songs.....

So, here's some others.

Well, fine, here's a song that I wrote and recorded in a demo form about 5 years ago.   I play every instrument on the track, except drums, sing lead the 1st verse.  A buddy sang the other one; we both did choruses etc, etc.

It's title is Devotion, and it's a typical rock/pop/alternative whatever-the-fuck you wanna call it song.

I've been playing guitar for close to (gulp) 15 years.

One thing I find is hard for me is not writing music, but getting lyrics out.
I had this discussion with my girlfriend, and I tried to explain that music is pretty much a language for me; I can convey through melody, harmony, arrangement and nuance whatever I want to.  I can express, like I would with words.  However, finding WORDS to place over that stymies me.  It's like, to me, hearing two people speaking simultaneously, while one is speaking in English, and the other is speaking in French.  I can't seperate them at times, so grafting words on top of music is a chore for me.

So, just work hard at it, and go with what you like.  Try to remember how you are really feeling as you play, and if you're crafty, put the words out.

Oh, man!Ã,  You've tasted Sweaty balls and urine?Ã,  Bummer!

You have too, through beer. You don't have to make fun of us just because you happen to LIKE the taste of sweaty balls and urine.

I like beer.  I do.  I don't often drink it to quench my thirst, but as an offhand social drink, it's not bad.  It doesn't get you drunk too quickly, and one can casually drink it - not like when I would do shots and end up drunker than sin.

Natural medicine isn't a cure all and if the general impression being given off is that drugs and doctors are evil then I am sorry.

Oh, no offence taken at all Sylpher - I was just saying that I'm stuck in a weird place; because I like natural medicine and more homeopathic ways of dealing with things.  But I know I can't do that with my case, at least for my kidneys!  And to Andail, I have to take these pills for the rest of my life, or my kidney will reject as my immune system will attack it, causing it to die.  So I'm stuck on a hoard of pills for the rest of my life.   Hopefully different methods of transplantation will be discovered in my lifetime, though.

Look, I'd say I'd like to believe in Natural Medicine,

but having a transplanted Kidney means I'm on approimately 12 different drugs, and about 25 pills a day now.  There's no real natural solution to dead kidney's; they don't grow back by homeopathic methods, allthough I wish to god they did.  The only option I had is to get a transplanted one, and now I'm a swimming pool of drugs.

So I straddle a tough line on this one.  Drugs keep me alive... and that's how I'll have to live the rest of my life.

Hey!Ã,  Thanks for your support, if it wasn't for people like you, we'd never get this done!

Dude, of course she's in there.  She's just under Eric's arm, so she's hard to see.

Besides, all they're doing is reading banned Elitist literature.  Why?  What did you THINK they were doing????

Can't be as good as mine -- only $49.99 from Kinky 'R' Us, and she can be easily deflated and stored away when you're tired and just want to get some sleep.

And this is the mind that programs teh AGS!!!!!!

I love this place!!!!

Hmm.

I've used my "handle" for a LONG time.  See, I used to BBS back in the days of modems, when I was all of 11 or 12.  I started out on a 1200 baud modem.  Then moved to a blazing 2400 and then an unheard of 14.4 .....  So I started using the handle "BLACKTHORNE" from James Clavell's Shogun, which I read at the time.  The 519 part that is sometimes attached to the end is merely my birthday, May 19th, 1978.

I know my first name is Steven........

I have a girlfriend, but no motorcycle anymore.

We do go 4-wheel ATV-ing up at my camp, though.

She likes adventure games, especially Space Quest, but she doesn't AGS.

I still say......

DUDE: Goldmund

BABE: Dart....... but maybe Pesty too.  I might just agree with Darth Mandarb and say that all the AGS girls just rock.

Bt

Eh, I'd say Goldmund.  He's got more class than all of us.

We all know that the dudes all dig DART on the female side of the coin.
