That was the only bit I could guess the rhythm to.Ã,  Please ignore the fact that I start giggling at the end.

Hehe.  Totally Silliness!  I love it!

Yeah, that's a fair point.

Also, what the heck is that? Never heard of that song. It needs to be instantly recognisable, mateÃ,  :-\

Uh, Pump Up The Jam was a really popular techno hit in the early nineties.  I thought it was recognisable for it's cheesy ambiance......

FINE. Seeing as some of you aren't MAN enough to sing LEGACY by the GONE JACKALS, I give you this:Ã,

Scissor Sisters - Take Your Mamma Out

It's a song about taking your mamma out to a gay club to tell her you suspect you might be gay. Sing it with pride.

Okay.Ã,  Never heard it before, but it's a catchy little ditty.

Here's a version from my concert at the Royal Albert Hall.

My Version

Will there be a guitar?

Well, I'm coming, and I own a Fender acoustic and a Martin Acoustic.  I plan on bringing at least one.

And now it's just one small step to FOY being shut down by Lucasarts, hooray!

I agree.  Yeah...... like they'd take on the fangame?  They shut down Sam and Max 2 for crissakes.....

ALTHOUGH they might, cause it would be cheaper to produce the fangames because fanboys work for free..... then when it's done, they SWOOP IN AND TAKE IT, either with a stipend payment or without......

Basically what I mean was how to write out the playscript of the game. Like how to set it out with puzzles and that. Should I just write out like...

I basically write mine out like a film script, with minor additons.  Kinda like

                                        NARRATOR
You approach Ed, and he begins to speak.

                                         ED
Howdy?  What can I do you for?

DIALOGUE CHOICES

1 - "Where am I?"
                                        ED
                    You're in Brushfeld Country, son!

     1a -"What's that?"

2 - "How's Buisness?"
3 - "Goodbye"

ETC.  Something like that.  Whatever works for you, or your team.....

I'd say Wes Craven's LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT was pretty creepy. It was too realistic...... well, at least the kidnapping part! Heh..... later on, well.  But it scared me when I was younger.

Yeah, ya know Squink, I was wondering how you were.  We left our email interview off without finishing it!  It's good to see you back......

Hey just a quick note.......

We could really use some help making sprites for the game.  Mostly, it's characters that don't have to walk - they inhabit stores and such. If you like to make Sierra-like sprites, or just sprites, drop me a PM.

Here's an example of some of the sprites in the game.

Thanks!

Heh.... no prob, Flippy.  Took me like 30 secs to make them blue!  I just wondered what it would look like.

I really don't care; I don't like emoticons really.

I thought the style of this more looked like M! 1, so I did a paintover in that style.

CHANGED

- Made the image longer, as Lucas Arts screens tended to scroll
- Made the mansion larger in the foreground
- added slight orange tint to windows
- Gave the mountains a MI1 mtn texture
- Changed Grass
- Enhanced the 'hole'
- Added more cliff definition

This was really a quick 15 minute paintover.

eric, can you post the full postal address of the place? I hear that US Customs won't allow you into the country these days without a full address of where you'll be staying.

I know that if you PM him, he'll give you the full address.  He did for me, at least.

I despise religion as much as the next religious hater.  But if Minimi thinks he's finding deeper meaning and enlightenment in this particular waste of time, then hey - let him do it.  It's not my life, nor anyone elses.  When it all comes down to it, really, we all just waste time until that clock kicks off and we really see if there is a God who gets angry when you don't pray to him or spread the word that his pathetic followers concieved in their feeble attempts to control mass amounts of people in the prehistory of the world.  But whatever.

I'm gonna quote something I read recently, and it hit me hard......this is off the top of my head, so if I miss a word or two, sue me..... "... once, the sun was attributed to a god named Helios that raced his chariot across the sky.  Earthquakes and Tidal waves were attributed to an angry Posiden.  Science proved these gods false idols.  Soon science will prove all Gods false idols."

Doesn't mean there isn't a God, or deity, or creator, it just means what we commonly worship as 'God' is a false idol, and we needent be presumptous and so haughty as to think we know something about the nature of a deity.  One needent believe in any religion, or God, to go about the world and do good things for people.  Helping people out, teaching them, guiding them is not always the work of God.  It is the work of humans, at their most spirituall humanistic.  If we belived in ourselves more, instead of God, we'd be a more productive and confident speicies.
