So who all is going to Mittens this year?

I live less than two hours away, so I plan to stick my head in for a little while and meet some of the great people around here, but I'm curious as to who is coming. 

BTW people, The Great Sacandaga Lake and surrounding area is one of the more beautiful parts of New York State, and more representative of what Upstate New York is like, for those who think NY is like the city.

   I appreciate the fact that in spite of it all, you are trying to do good, and believe in something.  I however, do not have a God Shaped hole in my heart.  I am comfortable with my own existance simply for what it is; I need no esoteric spirtiual reasons for my existance.  I just am, and I'm happy that way.  I love life, I love the people in it.  I don't need some silly belief in a diety to make my life feel more complete.  But that's just me - I'm content with simply living, needing no greater reason than that.  I don't crusade the anti-religion crusade, unless it's in my face or there is forum to discuss it.  I wouldn't run into a crowd, shout "All you God worshipping nuts IS crazy!!!!!!".  Truly deep spirtualism, for me, comes from being human.  Simply. I also agree, DG, that chilling out is a good idea.  Proving or disproving God's existance IS futile; it's a personal matter.  So, I won't tell you he doesn't exist if you don't tell me he does.  Perhaps we should ALL remember we are people, and that we should care and be courteous to one another.

Aye. People set up their own forums all the time. In fact, many AGSers have their own forums. Gaspop Software (Pleugherburg) have their own. So does Tierra (KQ 1 + 2 remakes). Besides, it's good to visit other forums than AGS.

Yeah, so does my group, Infamous Adventures.  We're making Quest For Infamy and another AGS game that remain anonymous at the moment.  We have our own website and forums.

Yeah Darth, I had a Cingular Phone last year - and they kept charging me for minutes I never used.... turns out they charged me for every message anyone left in my voicemail (Which was FREE).  I also had calls logged on my account seconds away from each other, which would have been impossible.  Finally, I saved my records, and my Dad and his lawyer friend reviewed them, and threatened Cingular with a suit.  They backed down.

Don't ever get a Cingular Phone.  They suck.

Don't jump down our throats for looking at this from a Biblical standpoint, just because you disagree.Ã,  I'm not gonna lecture you for calling the Bible a story book.Ã, 

It's not that I disagree, it's just that the Bible is one big, poorly written, storybook.  Seriously.  It was written by people who were obviously poorly skilled, yet fanatical story tellers, and it's while it's a fun and educative read as it delves into one segment of human history, it is in no way a proven doctrine of actual legitimate fact, 100% of the way through.  Specifically, many stories in the old testament are retellings of Mesopotamian epics, in particular the Epic of Gilgamesh, which is now known as a myth.  Someday the collected works of Christiandom will be known, rightly, as myths and honored and lauded for their place in human history, but these books are no basis for life, or praise or condemnation of any being on the planet.

So you can look at it from a biblical standpoint, if you wish.  But don't think that I don't think your as silly as some prat who lives his life by following the doctrine set forth in "The Catcher in The Rye".

But there isn't 5 smokestacks, that's under exagerating. Go into the city up the QEW from Niagara, I did yesterday, I counted 26 on my way in, and I missed alot on the other side of the highway.

He's right.. ... I do remember seeing those smokestacks as I drove up the QEW last year.  But beyond them is some really nice places.
