Here's a prelim, and quick review upon my first time playing.

First off, I love it.  I really do.  The mood is great, reminds me of good old time adventure gaming.  I'm glad you're making this!

The only complaint I have is that the intro moved too slowly for me, and you couldn't skip it.   But I'm sure that's something easily fixed, what have you.

The graphics are simple, colorful, effective and wonderful.  I look forward to playing more!

Hey, quick question maybe someone can help.

Is there a program that can rip backgrounds from LucasArts games?
I know of costume ripper for the sprites, but I'd like to get backgrounds to study, use, etc.

I find the best way of improving your style is to study the bkg's in great detail.  If not, I guess it's a lot of PrtScrn editing for me, eh?!?

It's a shame, because the prod. art was very good.  I would have liked to have seen this game come to be, but it's a lot of work, especially for one guy to do.

i'm having some problems with my best friend (a girl). she's been my closest friend for more than 2 years, but sometimes i feel like i don't really know her.

what's your opinion? can a guy and a girl be very close without being in a romantic relationship?

Nope.Ã,  Every close female friend I've had, and I've had a lot, I've really just wanted to fuck.Ã,  Doesn't mean I didn't like hanging out with them, or having fun doing stuff that friends do - but I still always wanted to fuck 'em.

People use each other for all kinds of reasons.Ã,  Romance and sex is just one way.Ã,  Emotional support is another, etc.

Looked like a decent game? I mean the first books title was even changed wasn't it? Philospiher to Sorcerer. That just seems stupid. Why is it just sassumed that Nobody will understand what Philosipher means?

Grand opening of the website. Here you will be able to download the games that I create. Also there is information on game development and music creation. A "POLICE QUEST 2 REMAKE" demo should be available in the next few weeks

Yeah, the last update was September 20th, 2003.  A few weeks from then would have been like October 2003, so we're still almost nine months off now.  I don't think this project is gonna happen.  But I have seen someone making PQ2 VGA pics.  His name is JayWar.  He's around.  He's posted some pics on the AGDI boards, but I don't know if he's planning on making a game.

I suck at drawing characters :'(...and i need some help..anyone knows how to start?

We practice.  A LOT.

First look carefully at the characters in games you love.  Study them.  Analyze them. Figure out why the arm looks a certain way, why the color and light work the way they do.  Then try and copy that character.  Do it over and over and over until you gain talent from practicing.  Then try making your own.  There is no quick and easy with this stuff.  You just have to practice a little harder.

Contrary to the world's opinions of New York, it's not ALL LIKE New York City, which is, I swear to god, like it's own state, really.  Where I'm from is mostly farmland, with industrial cities. I'm less than two hours away from the 1,000 Islands bridge to Canada, and close to the New England section of the American Northeast.  Syracuse won an award for most snowfall.  We get a lot of it.

Where Cx is a C with the pinky on the 3rd fret.

    It's called a C9, where being that added note is a 'D' above the C, which from the root is 9 step above.  It could also, in some circles, becalled a '2' As in a C2, but generally a chord with a interval like that is called a '9'th chord.

I would be happy to beta-test the game, and write up a review for you and a bug-list of any errors I find.  Just let me know.

Your game is horrible, awful, terrible, looks like hell, is not fun to play, I want my money back (on a free download), you owe me 3 hours of my life back, you lazy, sexy fraud.  I'm mad as hell.  I can't believe this game gets such praise.  It sucks!  It's horrible!  The Elephant Poo in the intro was more interesting than the whole game!  Alexander looks like a twad!  The jokes are lame!

(Now, for the ruin of sarcasm, YES, I was entirely joking for those of you who fail to read satire well.  This game is so excellent, it blew my colon out my nose, and now my friends call me poop-schnozz.   How's that?)

I don't see what all the fuss is about. Really, I don't.

Just go to church once. It's one day in your life, and you'll be there for about an hour and a half at the absolute most (unless it's some 6-hour long Worhsip thing for some strange reason). She obviously knows you're not Christian, and if she's in your class then she knows (to an extent) what you're like. She knows you don't act all God-like and Holy, so she won't be expecting you to act that way. If she's genuinely interested in you, she'll just be glad you made the effort to come along. And if she's a fraud - whooppee - you missed out on ONE morning (or evening) of your life.

Just go to see if she's for real or not, and let things happen from there.

Religion is a commodity.  Bought and sold.  From the beggining.  It's clear we created God in our OWN image, just to give us some kind of cosmic reason for existance and rules for living.  However, some things in this universe are just too mysterious and great for us to know, and how can we be SO egocentric to think we have ONE IOTA of an inkling on how the creator, or God, works.  We don't, and if you do - you're nucking futs.

  Read Fierce Invalids.  I guarentee you will love it as much as you love Cowgirls, albiet in a different way.  It will hold an affection different than Cowgirls, but potent nonetheless!

Hollister, I don't go promoting big things without anything to show for it.  Sorry if I'm a wet blanket, but it's been more than a week, finals don't take that long - I went to school.  I just think he got in way over his head, and is bailing out.  Seen it a MILLION times on these forums.  It just gets annoying when someone comes in saying "I am going to remake the ULTIMATE version of MONKEY ISLAND/SPACE QUEST/KING'S QUEST ever!!!!!!"

BTW, what game thread of yours did I comment in. I honestly don't remember.

And My team, Infamous Adventures, has been really busy with our project, Quest For Infamy.  We just bought a dot-com for it.

He won't, just like every other dude who comes in here, announces they are REMAKING or MAKING A FAN GAME OF

             b) Space Quest

without having anything done first.  It's a shame, really.  His cartoons looked nice, but I don't think he had a story, animations of any notion of how to use AGS. But I could be wrong.  Watch him come back with some HUGE completed game.
