I really don't want to nag - though I guess I am  ;) - but the official deadline was over a week ago and the last new entry nearly a week ago. Shouldn't we start the voting soon?
You are right, I wasn't sure if Ponch was going to add an entry or not, but I guess it's long overdue. Sorry to have kept you all waiting!

The last words his captain said to him before Pedro the pirate became marooned on an island was
"Goddammit Pedro, if you play that damn song on that damn accordion one more time,
I'll have you marooned on the next damn island!"

The captain also left the accordion on the island.

Since we didn't get very many entries, would anyone care for an extension on this?
I totally forgot about the sprite jam! I'll try and come up with something soon!

Why is so many Web ads for video games bizarre?
I mean, just look at this thing:

The title is Viking: War of Clans, but the picture
looks like a giant goat skull attacking Sparta...

And while generic bikini models that rarely, if ever, show up in the actual game
is pretty par for the course in these type of ads, this one has some
weird choices in photoshopping:

New realm, new rules in anatomy I guess...  (roll)

Wow, this looks really awesome!  8-0
I'm serious, the animation and effects looks on par with Disney!

Wow, thank you for your kind words everyone!

There are just a few details I want to complete now,
everything is so close!

Sadly, I wasn't able to get my story together in time. It was a comic tale of a prehistoric Swedish caveman and his attempt to build the first Ikea with stone age tools that tragically went awry and ended badly for everyone. But I just wasn't able to pull it all together in time. Nice entries from other people though. I look forward to voting on them.
Sounds like a fun story, shame you couldn't finish it.
I could extend the deadline a few days longer if anyone is interested.

I've made a trailer for the game!
Well, more of a teaser really, butt I took time trying to make some good animations and showing off the premise of the game.
This is the first trailer I've ever made, so I'm excited to hear your opinions!

Watch it here!

Nice screenshots, I like that it has a different style and can make such odd elements work together.

Lovely art, I'm a sucker for twisted and surreal cartoon shapes, though I'm curios on how the fish-eye perspective will work in the game!

Great!
I also used one of your tracks in a short animation I made, really fun music!

I think AGS is a great engine for amateurs and beginners such as myself, I've tried doing a few things with Game Maker and Unity
but the number of options did feel a bit overwhelming at times, and to this date, the games I've made in AGS are the ones I actually
completed. AGS is easy to learn and most of all, it has a great community around it as well.
