I'm now officially in love with Tutis Publishing!

I want to go hang out with the staff and smoke whatever they are smoking...

Because...

DAYUM!!!
I know, they are are a gift that keeps giving:

Also, I wanted to share an image that wasn't from tutis, but funny all the same:

Anyways, they say you should never judge a book from its cover,
but I say whoever said that never saw anything from Tutis publishing
That really made my day.
Well, because I was bored, because I'm a self-hatred bookworm and because Bethesda Softwork s***
Wow, that's both awesome and hilarious! :-D

LOL, that a joke?  (laugh)
No, just try Googling "Tutis Publishing" and you will see loads of more bizarre covers, what I posted was not even half of it:

Thank you for your kind words everyone!

If you want the Russian WW2 version of a jeep you should go with GAZ-67 (Gorkovsky Avtomobilny Zavod)
The similarity to the American Willys MB is not a coincident :)
Nice, I'll have to remember that jeep model!

I have made a few new animations since my last update, including two new animations for the commissar. It was a bit of work to animate his arms due to the stars on his sleeves. Why did the soviets have to sew them onto their sleeves? :(
Here is one of the new animations:

Since the game isn't as linear as the first one, you can visit all rooms from the start and go back and forth between them, rather than just relying on regular checkpoints
Ivan and Olga can ask the commissar to make a note of their progress as a diegetic way of saving the game.

Is this game inspired from Bioware RPGs? That sounds Awesome! ;-D

And it's pay to win! >:(
And team players can quit on you at any time :=
True words!

Awesome, is that the idle animation?
If so, this is going to be one beautiful looking game.
Thanks! I'm going for rather stylized backgrounds,
hoping to make it look like a traditional tapestry.
A screenshot from my game:

Some examples of the type of art I've used as inspiration:

I have started on my entry, a game about Snapphanar,
which were guerrilla fighters on the Danish side in the Scanian war, which was fought between Denmark and Sweden in the 1670s.
The Swedish forces however, made no difference between danish guerrilla fighters and highwaymen, and severely punished anyone caught.
They made a movie about them in 1941 if anyone is curious!:)

I have made some animations for the protagonist, and I'm trying to make it stylized
so that it looks like an old woodcut while also reminding of Swedish allmoge-art.

Halfway there. How are the games coming along?

Mine is pretty much done, except for a lot of slog-work I don't have time for just now. But it will be finished probably next week or so, and then maybe I'll release it or maybe polish it up until the deadline...
I was just planning on getting started today...

Congratulations Riaise! ;-D
#1653
It's a really fun game, especially the voice acting!
#1654
I must say, it's a very sweet game, and both the TV and record player puzzle were very fun! ;-D
#1655
They were both very nice and fun games, but it was hard to decide between two such different games,
whereas The Adventure of the Hero by Danvzare was a fun fantasy adventure with hilarious voice acting,
Memories Fade by Riaise was a poignant and emotional story about a man's relationship with his father.

Both had good stories and well balanced puzzles, but I voted for Memories Fade since it was just so heartwarming.
Still, I got a few chuckles out of The Adventure of the Hero as well.

There were a lot of parallel's between Paul and Sinitrena's character Jahm, but I felt more for Paul's predicament, as Jahm's was more of his own doing (which admittedly comes from the last instalment of his story).  I guess I have an easier time empathising with handicaps resulting from misfortune than bravado.

Same here, I feel way more for Blondbraid's Paul than my own Jahm, basically for the same reasons. ;)

Thank you, I'm glad that both of you liked my entry, but I must say your story about Jahm was good too, it had a very interesting world.
I can understand why you like "A Broken Man" better though Sinitrena, I didn't edit and polish it as much as I had wanted to before submitting it since I wanted to finish the story before the deadline.
I didn't know there was going to be an extension until after I had already submitted it. :(

Also a really fine piece of art :-)

@ThreeOhFour: For some reason, it reminds me of the Realm of the Dead in King's Quest VI (only difference I can see is RotD is permanent night, and this has daylight).  Still, very neat!

@Blondbraid: REALLY good here--especially like the hot elf chick!
Quote from: Danvzare on Mon 13/03/2017 10:07:46
If this was a spiriting contest, I think Blondbraid would win by default with that hot elf chick. (laugh)
Not just because she's a hot elf chick though, but because she is incredibly well drawn.
Thank you, how fun that you liked it! The elf was something I took from a previous picture I made, and I just wanted to add a character for scale. I do hope the elf doesn't distract from the bridge too much!

Those screenshots look absolutely gorgeous and the animation really fun,
I'm still hoping to see more of this game, it's just so beautiful!
#1659
I must say it was hard deciding but here is my vote:

Best Writing - Ponch, it took a while for me to understand what kind of person the protagonist was, but it was a clever, slow reveal
Best use of the theme - Baron, for making it about golf as well as a protagonist becoming disabled
Favorite Story - Baron, the ending just cracked me up

"You know what? I don't think the evil wizard's doomsday weapon hidden in the castle can be all that bad. I'm sure it'll be just fine. We don't really have to cross that bridge, do we?"
