I'm not sure if dubs count, but the version of Be Prepared from the Lion King by the late Rikard Wolff still feels great years later.

So... Any programmers wanna comment on it's accuracy?
Python:
Building the horse was easy
But boy is it slow
And I realized just now that they forgot to put Python in the comic!

Well, I didn't expect any such reaction, but if it has to go, let me do my magic and delete it from the thread  :=
I don't think adding emojis to your replies in this context is the most respectful way of handling it, but I hope all this will be something people can learn from.

I will also try to find out who created the meme and then do my best to ensure they lose all internet access for life. No need to under-react.
See, this is what bothers me, I shared my thoughts because I genuinely suffer from depression as well as being triggered by a reminder of an incredibly frightening experience for me,
and your answers so far have felt like sarcasm and belittling me, and removing the comic felt more like you were worried others would agree with me when they saw it rather than caring for other
people's mantal health. Please just stop, this isn't funny to me, it's been causing me great stress and anxiety, and I want to make clear that this isn't a case of just hurt feelings,
I have literally been diagnosed with depression by a doctor and prescribed a daily dose of anti-depressants just to get through the day.

All I ask is that you try to understand and respect other people when they try to explain why certain things are harmful to them, and believe people when they say they are hurt.

I don't want to derail this thread, and I wish it could all just go back to being funny pictures that didn't treat very real fears as a cheap punchline, so please, stop trying to keep
this going, stop trying to make silly replies when I have been trying to explain something incredibly painful that's caused me great stress to share, just drop this and
let this thread go back to the funny pictures it's supposed to be about.

Laura Hunt:
I think you confuse Jack's post with the first comic KyriakosCH posted, and I agree with what you say on Jack's post.

...you're absolutely right, I'm sorry. I literally hadn't even seen that one because I started reading from the most recent message upwards, and stopped when I got to Jack's message, thinking that was what you were talking about. And I agree completely, that one is just gross and not even funny. It's absolutely awful that you went through something like that and I wish more people would understand just how terrifying it can be to find yourself in a situation in which not even "calling the cops" will help you.
Thanks, I'm glad and relieved to know I'm not the only one who feel that way about that comic.

I didn't identify that as the joke... I mean, if so, the panel with real forms wouldn't make sense :)
I think the joke is more that "doomers" tend to project stuff both ways. Searching I found that other "goth girl" memes indeed have the bad joke you mention, but this one isn't imo really about that.
Maybe it's not the explicit message of the comic, but it sets up a pretty damn clear pattern of whenever the ugly man says hi= she's calling the cops, but she doesn't when he's not depicted as ugly.
Then there's also the matter of using a scenario of a woman calling the cops because a man creeps her out as the punchline. I can tell you, having to call the police in real life was anything but a joke to me.

Before getting defensive, I hope you'll bear in mind that I do not write this lightly and it's been hard for me to share all this.

Sick loop!  :=

I'm sorry I'm not able to find that kind of jokes funny, as many women will attest it's not weather a guy is ugly that makes you afraid, it's weather he ignores your boundaries that makes women report him.

I speak from direct experience as I recently had to report a man to the police for stalking and harassment, and his appearace wasn't ugly in any kind of way, but his brehavior was.

So I ask that please, don't make jokes about how women only report creepy men because they look ugly, because real life predators come in all forms and it makes it much harder for their victims to be taken seriously.

Sorry if this comes across as off topic, but seeing that kind of joke greatly stressed me out.

Was 'Bury Me in the Sand' ever fully completed?

I can't seem to find Ernie a present...
It was ages since I played the demo, but I remember you could accidentally hit a dead end if you spent the money on food.
Spoiler
You are supposed to exchange the money for a coin at the kiosk in order to buy a figurine from a vending machine, which you need to proceed.

Thanks!  ;-D

I got the ideas from different places, can you guess which fact is;

something I saw people legitimately claim on Reddit,
something asked in a Q and A section in a kids magazine,
a modified joke from a British comedy series,
and something I just made up on the spot?

This thread is delightful.
Yeah, I thought this forum could use more threads to cheer people up what with all that's going on in the world,
plus there's just so many animals that's just too weird not to share pics and videos on.

Like the Tarsier, the Furby's evil cousin:

Did anyone else know there were turtles with soft shells?

It's just such a bizarre idea for an animal, because without a shell, what's even the point of being a turtle?
They're just some kind of weird reptile pancake.  (wtf)

You need to remove the address and just leave the video code... as in delete: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=  and leave zI-uF3y37A4;)
Really? I saw the video player just fine on my end, but I've edited it just to be on the safe side. Better?

There used to be elephant-sized swans living on Malta, so I just had to share it!  8-0

(though to be fair, the extinct elephants on Malta were only Shetland-pony sized, but still...)

I always thought the proboscis monkey looked kinda strange. reminds me of a caricature of Jimmy Durante.

https://www.britannica.com/animal/proboscis-monkey

I remember them mainly from this Tintin comic:

In Sweden, the name of that species, Näsapa, literally translates into "Nose-monkey"!  :-D

Mandle: You mean one of these?

Australia sure do get the weirdest animals!
