I've started playing, but I'm stuck at
Spoiler
The dart throwing game. I haven't been able to find any clue to what numbers I should throw.

I had a very hard time deciding, but I've voted. It'd be interesting to hear your thoughts on the entries.

That last gif looks awesome, It'll be exciting to see how the different gravity will affect gameplay!

The contest is now closed and the voting begins.
Vote using the poll above.
Not to be too nitpicky, but aren't you forgetting BlondBraid's entry?
Exactly, I'm feeling like chopped liver over here. :(

Hi everyone! I just wanted to say that thanks to morganw, this game is now also available on Mac!
#946
I've just updated the game according to Cassiebsg's and Mandle's suggestions, which apart from a few lines of description
the game will now also feature a miniature item necessary for completing the game. I hope you find it worth it!

I've built it with an older version of Xcode, and it seems to be working okay. If you send me an image to use for the icon (1024 x 1024, and I'll create the scaled down versions from that, probably best not to feature text) I can probably give you a built game back.
That's great to hear, I just sent you a PM with a PNG image linked, will that do as icon?

It didn't go well so far...
That's a shame, do you have any idea on how it could be fixed?

Ok, that's good to know.
You're right that the clue wasn't intentional as much as just something I added to make sure the player used the items in the right order,
since being able to combine them in different orders would have taken more time and work.

Sure, and also it would be a bit silly to
Spoiler
put glue on something tiny like a needle. The logical order is glue on feather, indeed. I'm not quite sure if you get my point though: The game told me "It would be better if I put the resin on the dart's feather first." before I even knew that there was a feather available. If you are going to update or further develop the game I would suggest something like "I won't be able to make a dart out of the needle without something to steady it in flight." for the case where the player hasn't found the feather yet, and then the original comment for after they have found it. ;-D

It's a good suggestion, I'll definitively bear it in mind if I update the game.

I've tried it in Wineskin and Wine Bottler, although in both cases I think the mouse cursor will become jerky if you use a 'gaming mouse' which produces a lot of mouse events. Do you know which version of AGS your game was made in? If it is low enough, I could try building the Mac version of the engine.
The game was built in the latest version, 3.4 I believe. Can you still build it?

I've got a Mac if you wanted to give it a try. Were you looking at something like this?
Yes, have you used wineskin before?

Hi!
I've had people say that they want to play the game I made, Commissar's Contrapasso,
on Mac but the only free apps I could find for converting Windows files to Mac were made to be used on a Mac.
Since I do not have a Mac of my own I'm wondering if someone is willing to help port the game to Mac.
I'd be most grateful!

Fun game. Short and sweet.

A few context issues point the way forward and avoid what could be directionless gameplay otherwise.

Spoiler
I hadn't found the feather yet but trying the melted resin on the needle told me I should put it on the (not yet found) feather first. That's when I realized I was supposed to be making a poison blowdart thingy. So... useful "feature". Might be better though if the character just says he is trying to make a blow dart thingy...

You can find the feather at;
Spoiler
the cabinet. The plume on top of the parrot's head can come off.

I thought I had made it a different enough hue to stand out from the background, but I guess it could have been clearer.
I always find puzzles to be the hardest bit to design since it's hard to predict what others will notice.

Looks really nice Blondbraid and as always I love your art style!
Thank you, I'm glad you like it!

Thanks!
I realized myself that it doesn't fit the theme that much,
I originally had an idea for a more elaborate puzzle that would involve a miniature cannon and
a tiny globe, but it wound up being scrapped in order to finish the game in time for the deadline. :-\

Captain Roderick Downes is sailing the Baltic sea when he is boarded by pirates led by a local princess, and Roderick soon finds himself prisoner on his own ship. Can you help him escape?

This game was made for MAGS in october 2018 with the theme "miniature".

The game can be downloaded here.

Cryptic Hybrid already did a playthrough of this game on YouTube! ;-D
(But I recommend playing the game before watching the video)

And if you'r taller than 1.50 nine out of ten times clothes your size will be already sold out.

150cm? That's pretty short.
Exactly, but every single time I try shopping for clothes nearly all the larger sizes have been picked off and maybe if you're lucky there's one left behind the pile of S and XS sized clothes.
I've no idea why stores even bother ordering so many surplus tiny clothes, but there's always a pile of them when I shop.

Let me grind something related: I'm tall and left-handed, so tools and clothes for me are both rare AND expensive.
There are similar problems when shopping women's clothes. No pockets, shirts and cardigans that can't be buttoned all the way up, and weird tailored sleeves that doesn't let you raise your arms comfortably.
