AGS Games in Production / Re:Evil Teddy!

Sounds good. That bear has that crazed, homicidal look in his eye., although he does look a little like Max (But the resemblance is all in the face)

To me, idea one seems a bit generic.
Idea two has been done before two, but it could be made very original with just a few variations.
Or, you could combine the two, where, through an accident with some complex spell, the wizard accidently gets himself into this whole evil plot, forcing him to save himself and, thusly, save the world.
However, the whole "hero reluctantly rises up and saves the world" has turned into something of a cliche.
Before one can really determine a plot, one needs to know the atmosphere of the game, though. Is it meant to be more serious or humorous?
If it's a serious plot, i can still help out, but my specialty lies within writing more humorous stories (although most good humor games have a touch of seriousness, too)

What do you mean by "important" members, though?

Since AGS games have no productive capacity at all (unless we give a reward for downloads) all Demand for shares, and hence laregely price, will be determined by speculative action.

So unfortunately, the price (unless we determine the price of shares, in which case we're neglecting the market thing) will form speculative bubbles, but because the games have no value, it won't pop. So a few prospective games, say PDA 2, will probably receive huge prices and go nowhere whilst others languish, and don't care, because the share price won't affect their operation.
The AGS Games might not have a productive capacity, but the creators of the game do. Demand for shares could be determined by the number downloaded, and feedback to the game would determine whether or not the stock would rise or fall, as the demand for a further game would be determined by the quality of the previous game.
The price would not be subject to speculation, as starting price would be subject to previous creations in both quantity and quality (i.e., somebody who had made a large number of high quality games would have a very starting price, somebody who made a few good games would be worth quite a bit, somebody who has made no games would start at a minimum price, etc.) The value of a game could be determined through a system of the quality of the game verses anticipation. If a game is highly anticipated, the stock will rise during production, but if production is delayed too long, the stock will level out and eventually start to fall, and if the game falls short of anticipation stock price will lower dramatically.
Although, admittedly, the market would have a rather weak foundation, it would still function properly through the system of supply and demand.
Your theory is based on the assumption that games have no value, but, as mentioned, games do have value determined on the quality following aniticipation, and the amount of downloads of the game and satisfaction with those downloads. In other words, it's value is determined by whether or not it was worth the time of download (a system especially effective for dial-up users)

I'd be able to contribute to the story, most likely, and maybe even some scripting. Artwork, though, I can't do that well.
Anyway, I have some spare time and would be willing to help out.

This game is more addicting than crack.
Even if my high score is less than a thousand.

This is good, if you have a certain song in mind:

I had a dream where I accidently ate a sandwich with poison in it, a kind of poison that did nothing for 24-hours and then made my lungs explode. It turned out that it was part of a conspiracy trying to kill me, and I distinctly remember getting into a knife fight with Larry Vales. I think I killed him but he managed to stab me in the chest, and then I fell down and died.
And this was a lucid dream, which made it all the more interesting.
I've never had a dream with AGSers in it, but I've had some with AGS game characters in it.

If they just did some major changes to the graphics, interface, plot,  design, story, puzzles, and humor, EMI could have been alot better.

Peaceman, eh?
I better stay out of there, because this forum is already too liberal for my taste.

I came during the last few months of the ezboards, and about last January I left. Then, in early May, I thought I'd drop in for a few minutes, and I've been here ever since.
You cannot get rid of membership, you can only try to supress it.
