I'm trying to convert the RR games (the two first ones) for windows.
I converted the first one to ags2.31 and then to winags2.51 and some of the rooms appear pitch black! no dialog or anything! know what's wrong?

As for the second one I get a script error in ags2.31 and I don't know how to solve it (I'm a terrible scripter) it's probably a beginer error:

if (character[ROBERT].inv=1) RunDialog(7);

where's the parse error?

I've never been to Samothraki, or the fesival (since I'm not really a dance music fan) but the island must be great.

If you want that kind of partying all day stuff you could also visit Ios next time.

Oh...and it's Syrtaki. The kind of dance they have in the final sequence of Zorba the Greek.

Well my brother gave me some today in the morning. It certainly helped me get up. Usually I get it from my mother in the afternoon. Once I gave it to my cat and she went fuckin' crazy!

Some of you might remember me...I'm an old AGS veteran who just popped up after lots of months to see what's going on on the AGS world.

I would like some of these questions answered:

1) Where the hell is Spyros?
2) Whatever happened to the GAC site?
3) Are the Robert Redford games still available for download or are they GONE?
4) Have any good games turned up the last 6 months, worth the download and playing time ? (please answer honestly)

 As for me, I'm a bit mixed up...I still work on Inferno a little bit, and I would like to catch up with all the AGS friends I've made over my 3 or 4 years as an AGSer, but I've also got a time and schedule problem and I'm not sure I can keep up with the pace of this community anymore. (I'm not bitching , I'm very glad it's getting bigger and bigger!)

Don't you worry guys. If I die, the first thing I'll do the next morning is post about it.

   My withdrawal from the boards these past few months has partly to do with the fact that I don't recognise the people who post here anymore, and I rarely find a topic that interests me. That doesn't make the forum a worse place, and these aren't the main reasons I've given up on ags lately. Mostly I feel the need to recharge. I've been around these boards for years and made many wonderful friends, but now I'm a bit bored of them. And generally with AGS. I mean, I haven't downloaded an AGS game for about 6 months. (BTW eric you never gave me that link). But it's only natural to be a little full of AGS since I have been medling with it for so long. Chris is totally right.
  Still that doesn't mean I quit either the boards or the making of AGS games I just need a break to regain my appetite.
   That's all about me
   As for the forums, I think we shouldn't be elitists. Newbies are most welcome. Hell, 99% of them acts a lot better than me when I was a newbie. So we old ags guys just need to adapt to the new way of things.
    What the hell happened to me? I'm way to serious lately!

Thanks people...the redford games aren't really the most popular games on AGS , but it makes me really proud to have made some people laugh with what I did.

Anyway I was to bored to watch the competition, and unfortunately missed the Austrian entry which had to be worth it. I also missed our singer who certainly earned the best boobs award this year.

We got the same place as last year which is a shame, because I think that moving from Gay-space-knights who wink all the time to a shameless display of amazing boobs should be rewarded...too bad.
