I think any Pixar film is worth watching!

I'll take your word for it, but I'm still not watching Cars 2 (or Cars)

Is that Soylent Green?

Well, I usually don't say anything until I have something to show.

I am planning to enter the competition, I just need some free time to come up with something original :P

General Discussion / Re: Gravity Falls!!!

Spoiler

I guess it has to do with how our culture works.
When Mabel demands things it's seen as selfish because she is more goofy, while Dipper also demands stuff but he is seen as the more reasonable one, since he is more serious.
So even though they both can be selfish, when Mabel is, she is interpreted as more unreasonable.

That and misogyny.

That SPACESHIP!!! SOOOOO GORGEOUS!!!

(It does look a little like a loincloth/codpiece as well...On purpose?)

Thanks for the praise. I never saw it that way, it was just a way to try and make a compact medium sized ship but incorporate somehow the saucer that is classic from the ST universe.

It's really neat to see so many great ideas from so many people here :D

I have so many unfinished things on my HDD it's depressing sometimes.

But let's pick the recent AGS ones that I still revisit and try to complete.

These are the main character and the cast/romantic interests of a yet-to-be-named game.
The setting idea is a regular person thrown into an alternate universe.

Here is the main character walking cycles:

And here are some of the sketches for some rooms:

This is the cast and starship of a Star Trek like idea I have (also adult themed).
The main character would be Captain Torres (green uniform), but the idea is that in the away missions, the player could switch from characters to use their specific abilities.

And, just because I might as well show it instead of letting it die in my computer, this is the walk cycle for the MAGS extinction I never got the time to finish:

I also have some other projects I am also working on, but none are made in AGS so I don't think they would belong in here. (I know I have way too many projects -_- )

These entries are great, but part of me wants to vote for the trophies.

This is the right machiavellian attitude I expect from people to make sure they win (nod)

"Shame on you! Meanwhile there are children in Africa that go to bed barefoot"
Quote from: Blondbraid on Mon 15/08/2016 17:21:45
Yeah, the "Others have it worse" argument is an old one, and it isn't limited to African kids. Some old people also invoke the "You don't understand how much worse it was when I was your age!" card.

The thing about this is that most people go to bed barefoot, but it does look like a classic "you don't know how good you have it" phrase.

A personal favorite of mine was a friend's father that (loosely translated) used to say:

"Shame on you! Meanwhile there are children in Africa that go to bed barefoot"

I have to agree. I love the first style, but the second one is more suited for a serious themed game.
