I'm afraid the graphics arent going to wow you :p

I'm just trying to make the graphics look 'right'.. as long as the perspective is right then i think ill be ok.

I do agree with you about the narration.. its likely something i will fix.

and no i havent had any luck finding a victoria.

I actually have 4 characters to voice in Ep 1 but i wanted a victoria just to record a particular dialogue i've written to release to the community.

Just for giggles the characters i need voicing are:

Im going to hide this incase you dont want to know about the characters.. minor spoilers

Spoiler

Victoria Mackenzie - Head strong and flirty but with an air of class and sophistication. Well spoken and beautiful. aged 20-35 probably
Sarah - A shy reserved kind of girl. aged 20-30
Michael Grovesnor - The head of the house.. a youngish man.. early 30s maybe. quite sickly... coughs alot.
Grounds keeper - A standard grounds keeper type driven mad by the influence of the goddess.. mumbles alot.. think 'it rubs the lotion on its skin, or else it gets the hose again' Aged anywhere between 20-50.. really doesnt matter

Yeah, if i try to straighten her legs though they look 'too' straight

and if i straighten them just a little they look too much like spaghetti.

I cant seem to get her right.. especially the side view.. her arse is wierd.

Paint overs welcome

Things like this make me embarrassed.

The ease in which you identify perspective and can pluck images out of thin air and draw them just astounds me.

It looks fantastic, i love the style.

I'm looking for someone to voice my character Victoria.. She's a man eating minx of a girl. Aged anywhere between 20-30. Seductive and very well spoken.

I'd like her to be british but its not essential.

It's only for quite a brief dialogue at the moment but she will have more lines.

Let me know people.

You can't install windows 98.. everyone who knew how to do it has already died.

Its like learning to pronounce latin words.. we can have a good guess but we'll never really know.

I am fixing the sibilance on the ess sounds :p

I might release some more in game monologue soon just to keep it interesting.

That's actually a really good idea. I had started one for my game, but I abandoned it soon thereafter, as I got caught up in creating wiki templates and formatting it just right. :P

Ha ha its like youre watching over my shoulder...  :-\

I've actually just started using a Wiki to plan my game.. i dunno how useful it will turn out to be but for collaborative projects i would imagine it would be awesome.

I also member those little filofax things that were made popular around the late 90s,

I remember those, I had a monster theme one. It had a joke in it that i can still remember.

What does a vampire use to clean his house?
A victim cleaner.

I just had a quick look.. Its very flash.

It puts my game to shame in terms of prettiness.

Nuturing may affect his nerdiness but i dont believe it affects his base intelligence.

I've tested fairly consistently on IQ tests for the last 12 years or so.

They are not experience based but rather based on cognitive ability.. which is innate.

Wrong forum.

Try the Beginners Questions forum.

This is possibly the worst forum ive ever seen for people posting things in the wrong place. Is it really that difficult.

Those things were the fucking bane of my existence

the choices were so arbitrary

Do you go through the left door or go down the steps?

I dont know? which way smells the nicest?
#3476
how about:

A painful sense of self-loathing

people should get all conceptual with their inventory items.

I'd like to see a game with NO physical objects as inventory items but ideas and 'feelings'

Yea that will be the alpha channel.

If you ignore it and use the 'top-left pixel' for transparancy instead it will fix it.

I will fix the alpha channel though, since it needs fixing.

Can someone give me a hand with my walk cycles.  paint overs are welcome and encouraged.

The side cycle isnt too bad but the up and down ones seem to glide a little on AGS
