I'm with Mandle - I enjoyed playing Full Throttle in the main but I enjoyed it less than Zak, Monkey Island, The Dig, Indy, etc.  (The very first puzzle had me for a while - I thought I had a buggy version of the game initially!! )

Just to add, apparently you can only get this after you link your Steam account to Humble.

Also free today only - Eador: Genesis on GOG - https://www.gog.com/game/eador_genesis?pp=ee90d053fd46094e7edfa8efead93731a1a41bd6

It reminds me of Mario Party 8 on the Wii.

April issue is now available online: http://eepurl.com/cM4SLH

Great - I choose now to see a typo in my own article for this!  Duh...

("This was perhaps the first game that showed my just how well AGS"... should be "me", if you can change it that would be great, otherwise it will remain there to mock me forever!  :-D (roll))

Anyway other than that, thanks for another great issue!   ;-D

Wait is that a cut scene screen from Shadow of the Beast?

Don't recognise it, has a kind of Psygnosis / Infogrammes look to it though.

Glad to hear you're getting it back on track, my friend!  ;-D

I'm not a particularly good coder but I would have thought putting it as the first item in function room_AfterFadeIn() should do the trick?

Nope, changing from https to http produces no change. Still no embed. :-\

Then I'm stumped...  ??? - at least you can still go and watch the videos if the link is there I guess.

In your title bar does it say "https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/"?  If so just change it to "http://" and they should show.  (Don't know if there's another workaround...)

Heath Robinson, Inc. ?

Brilliant, thanks Peder.

Interestingly (or perhaps not) copying the URL straight from YouTube gave an https URL, I had to change that to get the new ones to work.  Anyway they work now, thanks for your help, and also thanks to AGS

I had been using
Code: ags
[embed=640,480]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUO6jXn-DaA[/embed]
- which worked fine before - but I see on my old post its only showing the link now not the embedded video.  Although it did show before... maybe it's actually something to do with Chrome? - didn't think to check in another browser before.

I note that newer YouTube videos use the URL style youtu.be but this shouldn't make a difference as long as you use the correct URL I think?  (The example above is from an old link - would be interested to know if others can see the actual videos or just the links - https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=46085.msg636464921#msg636464921)

Just can't seem to get this to work anymore - including the method I've previously used to do so.  Has anything changed?
